The Piano Technicians Guild is a professional organization which promotes the highest technical and ethical standards in piano technical services. Members are primarily involved in piano tuning and repairs, with many also doing rebuilding, refinishing, and other related activities. The bulk of PTG membership is in the USA, but several foreign countries are also represented. Local chapters give members a forum in which to discuss both technical and business issues. National and regional conventions include a technical school which helps attendees learn the latest and best technical procedures.
