President's Report

It has been a productive second quarter. With the addition of the Amarillo local and the web site, Local 375-703 is booming! Dan Watters, Bill Webb and I traveled to Amarillo May 19th to meet with the members in Amarillo. We were greeted with an enthusiasm for the union that was contagious. We answered their questions, addressed their concerns. We all made new friends and I got reacquainted with a few old ones. I would like to thanks Bobby Wynne for reserving the meeting room at the Ambassador Hotel for us. Bobby Wynne and Weldon Allard and Chet Calcote have been letting the Texas musicians know that it is a new Musicians Union. With members like these, Local 375-703 will grow by leaps and bounds by the end of the year.
