9/12/02- Sorry for the lack of updates, just getting my footing with school and all that shit strating up again. Anyway here is the update that was posted at SubNoize.com:

Words to the Suburban Noize Tribe.. Well if it aint another stupid ramblin'fromCarrion. Its been a while..I just wanted to take a moment to break everyone off some info and say thanks to EVERYONE for helping support the Suburban Noize Tribe during the past few years. Things got hella busy for me, ( and the Tribe ).. I am sure some of you already know that most of my time is being spent playing guitar now for KMK full time, that means Chris, Vega, Zinger, and Dave are working the phones at the Noize. The good thing about that is, I will have the opportunity to meet billions of the fans that I have only met via the phone or the net. So, I look forward to meeting you in person this year while touring come say hi. Lets see.. the last we left off, KMK started working on songs for another CD " Rollin' Stoned ", in addition to spot dates around the country. The CD fuckin rocks.. by now everyone has heard some new music, Full Throttle and Sleepers..maybe even seen the Full Throttle video on our site.. Props : Yep, put on the crash helmet cuz this is a ride of all rides. West Coast fans have seen Full Throttle live a few times and are starting to brace for IMPACT.

OK Oct 8th that shit hits the streets and woo woo.. the train will be runnin. Dont Say I didnt warn you!!

Hmmm.. that brings me to my next topic.. the live shows.. the last round of dates have been madd as hell.. THANKS to the fans who travel the weekends to see the band.. some of you I saw in Vegas, Diego, LA, OC and Riverside.. dam thats miles.. San Jose !! Woo Woo!! The Diego show was a blast.. Mix mob are killin' it ( like I always said ).. I think they were shooting some footage for a video that night .. we will see how that turns out.. SX-10 came out guns a blazin' and riffs a rockin' it was sooo good to see the pit movin crazy..
Vegas was kool because I got to see the Phunk Junkeez, and heard some of their new shit.. Booyaaa.. one of the best bands out there.. Speaking of Phunk Junkeez.. them and Mower are making a lap around the country in Sept. If you have NOT SEEN MOWER.. remember the crash helmet I was taking about before.. well, put in some teeth protection as well.. Based out of San Diego, Mower are a hardrock/ hardcore kind of band. Two singers ( maybe even screamerz ) If you like heavy shit.. Mower will bowl you over. DUCK AND COVER with the electronic thunder.

We got back from Mexico last night.. KMK went down to play with Cypress, Jane's Addiction, Pennywise, Vandals and a shit load of other bands in Cabo. It was a punk-rock free for all.. let me tell you.. As it turns out, most of the bands were staying in the same hotel. Thats a bad idea for starters, cuz when you get them rock folk together.. shit happens.. people go crazy, pills get popped..late nite swimmin with your boots on, spankin the donkey kind of stuff. At some point about 3:15 AM the KMK camp were tending bar the afterhours.. drinks were flowin.. and the jointz were blazin.. And yes, someone did break into the bar and steal 5,000 dollars worth of RUM and broke an Armadillo.. I am not gonna say who.. but I sure was Not Suprised. 90254 Always has the roudy motherfucks.. by the way, that's where I grew up ) Respect to the Homeland!! Surf was not too bad, Zinger and I hit it on the first day at Zippers.

Gringo Highlights.. Taxman took 6 stitches for the team when he did a stagedive, missed the crowed and hit the cement slab below.. OOOOUUCCHHH !! Warren ( Vandals ) took out his ankle doing a triple lindy spinner off the drums very ouch.... I had fun too, when none other than the big man Fletcher, asked me to play Bro-Hem with Pennywise, at the end of their set.. I told him that I had no idea how the song went.. but I would give it a whirrlll. It didnt seem to bother him that I didnt know the song, he just grunted to some of the dots on the neck of his guitar and off we went.. So props to the Extravangaza.. and thanks to the Mexican people and doctors for putting the guys back together.. Oh.. Taxman got stopped at the Customs Office in the airport coming back .. Not fuckin kool.. as usual.. anytime people with a badge and gun see the Tribe they sketch... So.. 8 Cops took him aside for the ( WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU IN OUR AIRPORT ) routine..stupid pricks..Taxman just explained.. I am the Taxman I am Free- Therefore I am Free..Just let me be Free Therefore I be.. They did not like his smart ass remarks and made him take all of his clothes and junk apart and kept him for the better part of an hour... no big thing.. just a bunch of crooked ass bitches..

Ok.. here is the close out.. We will see everyone down at the Street Scene this Sunday, Sept 8th KMK doing it up right.. There is another round of dates being booked for the west coast. Northern Cali.. get ready to rumble.. go to the website for that.. PS.. I think there is going to be a fresno date too.. ???

Props and Respect
Carrion

3/20/02- In the April Issue of High Times Magazine with the 14th Annual Cannabis Cup as the cover story they review "Hidden Stash II: Kream Of The Krop". Here is what they had to say:

It's hard to decide who stands up more for weed in hip-hop these days, Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg or the Kottonmouth Kings. Judging by the latter's later disc, "Hidden Stash II: Kream of The Krop" (Capitol), the Kings may have climbed to the top of the puffer's pack. Sure, Cypress have been down for the longest and Snoop recently toured under the title "Puff, Puff, Pass" (the tour was busted last year in Ohio by the same Cleveland cops who nabbed the Kings a month later). But clearely no one is more musically obsessed about marijuana than Cali's Kottonmouth Kings.

"Hidden Stash II" is the sequel to "Hidden Stash", a collection of tracks the band released on its Suburban Noize indie label following the major-label debut, "Royal Highness", in 1998. After performing at the Cannabis Cup in 1999, the Kings wrote "Coffee Shop" and "King's Blend" (both appeared on their second Capitol album, "High Society"). "Hidden Stash II" deftly combines the band's three trademarks: hip-hop, punk-rock and pot. Weeded highlights include "Killa Kali," "All About the Weed" and "Grow Room Mix."

Produced by Brad Daddy X, "Hidden Stash II" spreads the raps around, from D-Loc to Johnny Richter to Daddy X, with "visual assassin" Pakelika break-dancing in the shadows, as DJ Bobby b mixes and scratches, and Lou Dog pounds the live drum beats. While their stage shows, complete with a forest of plastic pot trees, are overt pleas for legalization, "hidden Stash II" is for stoners with headphones on and the NORML Newsletter in hand. -Steve Bloom

The issue also features Los Marijuanos from Chicago quoted as saying, "Cypress Hill adn Kottonmouth Kings are our mentors." Just thought I would throw that in there too. Peace Tokas!

3/19/02- This is an interview that took place on October 30th with D-Loc and Bobby B during the D-12 tour. I know it is a little old but hey you can check it out by clicking here. Peace Tokas!

3/14/02- Looks like Lou Dog is auctioning off his original 3 wheel drum set, just click here to check it out! Thats all for now Tokas! Peace!

3/13/02- Mad, Mad, Mad fuckin' news comin' out the Suburban Noize Tribe. First into the Kings news: First it looks as if "High In Hollywood" is going to be scratched and they just started to film new footage for another home video release under the title of "Chronic Camera", so be watchin' ya back for that at SubNoize events! Also the vinyl releases of "Royal Highness", "High Society" and "Hidden Stash II: Kream Of The Krop" are said to finally be droppin' in late May 2002! It also looks like The Dime Sack tour will be kicking off sometime in June with KMK, Mix Mob and the Phunk Junkeez. All you Down Under Tokas be lookin' for Kottonmouth Kings releases to be hittin' ya bit of land very soon! Be watchin' out for the Spaded Jaded and Faded Compilation, it's lookin' to be released on Suburban Noize which is supposedly goin' to include a "couple of softies to makeout to.. a few diddies to skate to, and two or three to get out the glass to..", so be prepared! The Tax Man and The Judge are both in the studio working on new material. The Tax Man should have some new shit ready to launch by the next tour. Peace Tokas! Oh shit did I forget to mention that is looks like the mother fuckin' Phunk Junkeez next release is going to be released through Suburban Noize in Summer 2002! How fuckin' dope is that shit! 1/30/02- Here is a update from the Suburban Noize Update:

OK Tokerz,
Carrion with a quick blast ( AKA ) tid-bit of info on the Suburban Noize tribe.
Before I start, we want to thank all the HARDCORE KMK fans who dropped in to visit us during the last tour. The Suburban Noize Tribe are always spreadin' Positive Vibes, but its important to thank the KMK-headz who put down the digits too!! So.. THANKZ.

GIGZ
2-7 Mix Mob, Too Rude @ Key Club in Hollywood 8:00 $5.00 in advance.
2-15 KMK @ Ventura Theatre - Duh?
2-21 KMK @ House of Blues - Hollywood
3-2 KMK @ Galaxy - Santa Ana
3-8 KMK @ Glass House - Pomona

That for the most part should be the last of the KMK dates, as they are planning to head back into the studio, trying to make some new shit, slated to hit the streets in late summer 2002.. The tribe are planning a spring tour, so keep your earz to the underground..

On the subject of recording, Mix Mob are in the final stages of mixing So Cal Drunks. Mix Mob ( represent Diego ) and do a fine job I might add. They've played around the country with King in 2001 and have been getting the two thumbz up from the fans. If all runs on point, 4-16-02 will be the street date. mixmob.tv is the place to go to check it..

Also, on 4-16-02 Suburan Noize will drop DIAL 7 "Groovy Galactic" based out of Orange County, Dial 7 have been hittin' stages with the Kings for a while and we were stoked when the situation came up about the CD. Groovy Galactic was release in Japan and yee hawww..
and now Suburban Noize are puttin it out.

Oh yeah.. here is one for ya.. we are in the lab putting together a new comp called " Spaded Jaded and Faded " or at least that's what its call for now.. It will have KMK, Sen-Dog, Mix Mob, The Judge, and a bunch of other rock'n bands.. the date is up in the air still but,the TOO Rude song " Dodge'n Bullets," is a must for the Dog Boy fans..

Rappin' it up!! Corporate, the Judge and Too Rude are still working out recording and mixing stuff.. maybe if all lines up.. this summer will be a doooozzzzie. PS.. I heard through the grapevine that Tax Man may be doing a record!! Whoo whoo..

Blisterz on da' fingerz ( from guitar, not milkin' the snake ya sik skrubz )
Props Carrion

Thats all I got for now, Peace Tokas!

1/23/02- The Winter Tour is almost at a close and the Kings are then going back to Cali. to record a new album! There are going to be some shows scheduled during the up coming months, most will be in California. This is the deal for now. Be looking for a new Kings album to hit the streets probably by this summer! Peace Tokas!

1/10/02- (part 2) There is a new Poll Of The Month for January 2002 here, so go and vote on that! Peace Tokas!

1/10/02- First off, I hope everybody had a safe and high New Years! Now here is an email that my Home Girl Stephanie sent me about the show in OC:

the concert went great i can't really put it into words becuase its so hard to describe the feeling i got when i saw them on my birthday which was so great. so im giving you the info from the beggining of the show which you had to wait in line until the doors opened which sucked and it was cool at the same time because you can see all the die hard fans waiting in the rain to see the kings live in concert. then they had to search you all over so that you wouldn't bring any shit in. it was my turn for them to frisk me so i hid my camera in this extra pocket in my bag and it turns out that the chick searched the whole bag and found my camera which had the whole film left in it. then as i entered the club i went to the rest room to freshin up and make sure i looked good for richter. so i did and i went into the crowd which was growing buy the minute. i met these cool ass queens that were just waiting like myself for them to come out. the lights went down and mix mob came out and the pit went wild. like 15 minutes after that i thought that primer 55 was gonna come out so i was wasn't really excited but i heard such a familiar voice which was bobby and then i heard loc saying " whats up oc!" everyone was hiped up. they came out with suburban life. then the set list went on. security was really ruff which meant that it was really hard for people to get up. still when the security would turn the other way the crowd got wild and some people got up. not enough for the whole stage to be packed. but then i kept screeming for them the kings to pull me up during its all about the weed because i made up a dance for richters part but i didn't make it on time for them to pull me up so i didn't go. until crucial came and i rushed the stage with this one queen i met during the show. i told her to go with me so that i wouldn't go by myself. so me and her were the only ones that were up there grinding on eachother which bobby liked because he gave me a wink in the eye. pak was busy with some other chicks that were back stage with him so i didn't get to grinding with him. after the song the concert was over and i ran over to richter before he headed off and i told him it was my birthday and he wished me a happy birthday and gave me a hug it was crazy i felt warm all over and i was literally trembling all over.(just a little insite loc died his hair brown which looks very weird but he still looks good) back onto the subject richter walked away and i was standing there looking at the set list on the speaker and of course you know me i jacked it and jumped right off the stage. i got myself recupperated and i took my set list and ran over to tax man who was signing stuff for fans. i was so excited cause it was the first time i had ever met him off stage of course. (another little note when tax man was on stage alot of girls were calling him and he got his little booty and started shaking it and spanking it like there was no tomorrow) anyways after him i went on to dog boy which i had my eye in because to me he is the coolest. so i headed to him and i asked him to sign my set list and he told me that when a fan jacks your set list it shows how much you care and that he really appreciates it. then i told him that it was my birthday and that i had fun that night and he gave me the biggest hug. by the end of the night my kmk shirt smelled like richter and dog boy combined. between the show dog boy and kona came out and did "do you feel what i mean" it was so good and the other song that they pulled off was on the run which was so cool. so he show was great and i had fun i inluded the set list for your site so enjoy and put my info down for your site.

kottonmouth kings house of blues december 29.2001

Steph...ya the shit! Peace Tokas!!!!! Be back soon when my internet isn't fuckin' up!!!!

12/27/01- First I hope everybody had a good christmas and blazed all night long! Anyway, I wanna clear up some shit right now...D-Loc is not leaving the Kottonmouth Kings! I have been getting E-Mails and asked on the net this over and over. From what I know those rumors are all false! That is the word for now Tokas..Be back soon, hopefully my internet server will not dick me over again in the next few days, so I can drop some more knowledge. Peace Tokas!

12/23/01- Damn sorry Tokas, my internet provider has been fuckin' shit up lately so I haven't been able to update the site. Everything is back on track now though, so keep checking back as shit will be back on pace within' the next couple of days. Peace Tokas!

11/25/01- Well some good news is coming my way about new Kottonmouth Kings material! It looks as though that when the Kings were writing new material for "Hidden Stash II: Kream Of The Krop" writing sessions were going so good that they kept going even after the album was complete and they could have another album out sometime in 2002 or early 2003! That is some tight news. Be back later with more. Peace Tokas!

11/22/01- Last night I went to the Kottonmouth Kings show here in Detroit at the State Theater. It was off the hook, I walked in the lobby of the Theater and sitting by the Kottonmouth Kings merch booth was none other than Lou Dog. Nobody even really noticed who he was, but I did so I walked over and talked with him for a bit (didn't wanna take up to much of his time, he was talkin' to some hot queen so I just let him get back to what he was doing). So I bought my shit and headed into the show. After the two opening acts came out the Kings! It was tight as fuck...it seemed like they were up there for like 2 hours (I was so blown out) and they put on a really tight show! D-Loc was helly fucked up, during the set he just got a new beer and brought it out to the middle of the stage to drink it, went to take a drink and accidently just dropped it (it was mad funny). The funny thing was this though, we were in Detroit home of D12 and most of the crowd was there to see the Kottonmouth Kings, I was very happy to see this happen! Me and alot of the crowd just left after the Kottonmouth Kings and didn't even wait around to see D12. Well that is all I got for ya now, I'll update this shit a lil' later. One Luv and Happy Turkey Day. Peace Tokas!

11/16/01- You might have seen this...you might not have, but I'm going to post it here anyway, I just recieved the Hollywood And Vine newsletter on the Kings and here is what it said:

Blazerz of the underground..
Its just about that time for our Suburban Noize Tribe update. The almighty Kottonmouth Kings are rounding the states and hittin it pretty dam hard. Photos, Jpegs, emails and faxes are coming in and the shows are going off the hook. Inside track says that Sweet Dick Willie ( AKA WP ) is going to fly out to the East Coast and referee a basketball game between D-12 and the Kings. Both camps are getting along and enjoying the tour. Speaking of tour, we are getting tons of email about new Suburban Noize artist, “ The Judge .” Thanks, we think he rips too. Yep.. The Judge is spittin out the words live every night with the Kings.. If you are wondering what all the hype is about.. www.suburbannoizerecords.com has Judgement Time Mp3 available for download. Daddy X and Kumigai did that track and it is CRACKIN’. We are guessing that a full length should be out by summer.

A second leg of dates are being booked, “ Kream Of the Krop Tour ” will kick off in December. That line up will be KMK, new Suburban Noize Recording artists The Judge, Mix Mob and Primer 55. Mix Mob are putting the last touches on a new CD called “So Cal Drunks” slated to hit the streets in Spring 2002. We also have some info and music at www.suburbannoizerecords.com and www.mixmob.tv They are based out of San Diego and rock like hell, check that shit out!!

Corporate Avenger is back in studio / live mode writing and rehearsing for upcoming shows.. yes there has been tons of rumors about investigations on the band and lets just say, that band had to kool down for a second. I spoke to Corporate this morning 11-15-01 and he assured me that they are fine, safe and working on music. After a great deal of prayer and deep thought, they are about to address the world on a WHOLE LOT of new set of ideas. Keep posted and we will send you info and updates on their new web site when its up and running.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Key Club in Hollywood the footage for High In Hollywood looks fucking tight, and we are trying to get it done as fast as we can, but the reality is, maybe Summer or later as a street date.

Suburban Noize will announce the winner of the KMK Review / Interview contest. Wow, a lot of great feed back and funny comments. Hang with us, its just a matter of reading a boat load of email.

If anyone remembers a few weeks back when Ohio State Troopers pulled Snoop over and he got roused?? Well, as the Kings were leaving Cleveland, they got the old PULL OVER FROM JONNY LAW. Kottonmouth were detained for about 3 hours as the bus was searched top to bottom. Everything ended up ok, they took all of the Bongs and Pipes however, we are happy to report THEY DID NOT FIND THE HIDDEN STASH!!! 2 Minutes after the cops left, the sacks were out and the band was blazing!! Fuckin’ Cops.

We are working on putting Kottonouth Kings Royal Highness and High Society on vinyl, as well as Bobby B Built From Scratch. The projected street date is Feb 19 2002. Vinyl is kinda rare these days, so if you live close to a place that you think should carry the shit.. Pass the mic and email us the addie. Include the Store Name, City, State and Number if you can, it makes life easier. Also expect in early 2002 Dial 7 Groovy Galactic CD. Subnoize got the rights and it’s kool history tracks by the OC group.

Its also time to update the site on Rips from the Bong, Down with the Krown and new queen images. If you have kool shit to email us.. hit it, we are in update mode at the Noize. Erin@suburbannoizerecords.com Jpegs only 100k or less.

All right I gonna wrap this one up.. thanks to everyone for supporting the tours, buying the CD’s and the rockin with the bands.. We will try to keep giving you the best we can offer..

Props, Love and Respect
Carrion

11/5/00- If any of you pick up the new ICP album "Bizzar, Bizaar" go to the track entitled "Rainbows & Stuff", it is Violent J talking about shit he likes and in it he mentions he likes D-Loc's Sister. 9/28/00- The KMK show last night was off the fuckin' hook! Richter was hangin' outside with everybody before the show began. The first group to hit the stage was Rehab who ripped shit up with there 2 tight as fuck nurses!!! Then came Too Rude who sang an acoustic set which lasted about 10-15 minutes. Then Linkin Park hit the stage and really ripped the fuck out of that bitch! Corporate Avenger came on next and were on for about 20 minutes and got everybody pumped up for KMK!! I have also heard the rumor about the Limp Bizkit tour and according to D-Loc the Tour with ICP starting December 1st is on, so the Limp Bizkit thing is probably just a rumor.
