She is listed in the 1880 census as "Mary Schwabe" with her place of birth listed as "MECLENBURG." The twin German Duchies, Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Mecklenburg-Schwerin, are near Lower Silesia, where Breslau is located, but may indicate that the rare Trunt family may not have only resided in Breslau.
Family stories about oldest son Alfred's five siblings depict many adventures. Mary married Frank M. Camp and resided in Tuscola, Michigan, supposedly the parents of a famous opera singer (Belle Camp). Augustus (or "Gus") is listed in the 1880 census as working in a drug store at age 19, although he later disappeared and never wrote home (the family even rumored that he started Schwab Pharmacy in Hollywood--he didn't). Helen married Albert C. Wetzel. Anna was a harpist and organist.
