William was a tanner in Taunton in 1639, removed to Boston and Joan(e) Hucker of Cohannet (Taunton). William and Joan were admitted Church of Boston in 1643. William's second wife Martha was admitted the Church of Boston 16 Apr 1654. There is some question whether her mother was Judith or Goodeth Itchenor, or Anne Rogers. She married a "weaver," Henry Tewksbury, shortly after the death of her first husband. She lived a long life (over 90 years of age) and there is good, reliable documentation of most of the main events of her life.
