This was Desiree’ Hayes when she was a 15 year old sophomore student at Lead Hill High School and a member of Monarch Tabernacle.

Hi, everyone my name is Desiree’ Hayes. I’m 15 yrs old, a sophomore student at Lead Hill High School and I attend the youth group at Monarch Tabernacle. I’ve been a committed member of this wonderful church for 4 yrs. I would like to share with you why I wrote this essay. It’s based on 2 reasons. Number 1 reason is because it was for my English class. The number 2 reason is because God spoke to me in class and told me to write about him. This is how I feel, I believe the lessons we learn in life, through the love of God should be shared with others. That’s why I wanted my essay on the website. People need to realize, that Christians, are not some crazy weirdoes! People are so judgmental over Christians because of the way they do things. Our love for Jesus Christ, what he has done for us, and everything he has given us, makes us act the way we do. He gave us LIFE! It hurts me to see lost people out in the world because I use to be one. We have all been lost at one time. That’s why, we all as God’s children, should help one another walk the right path. That path is the path, where, you walk with our glorious father. It’s what best way to go. Jesus is coming and we don’t know when. That’s why, our pastors and people with in the church are pushing and hounding us about getting in, believing, and loving Christ. They don’t want to see or know that when we die, we will go straight to HELL! Hell is not a place you want to be. To put it plain and simple, it’s torture! Heaven is paradise! That’s where everyone wants to go or should want to go. Thank you for your time and God Bless you all, who read this. God Bless those who don’t read this. God is watching, protecting, and loving each and everyone of us.
God Bless you all, Sincerely, Desiree’ Hayes
Could you imagine sacrificing your life for a world of people who despised you? It would be hard enough to allow yourself to be killed for people you love, let alone people, you hardly even knew. The love of God is strong and pure! Without it there would be no life for living. I used to think going to church was wasting time until my friends showed me and encouraged me that no other love would stay with me for the rest of my life. Sometimes, I wonder about how my life would be if my friends didn’t encourage me to give my heart to God. I thank him for never giving up on me even when I didn’t know or believe in him. The greatest driving force in my life is my commitment of Jesus Christ, my inspiration. It is through the applications of God’s mercy, his commission, and his word in my life that will sustain me through to my goal.
In the fifth grade is when the light of God’s mercy fell on me. I had not heard of God and I did not believe in him. When I gave my heart to our loving savior for the first time, it felt GREAT!! It made life a whole lot easier. My commitment to my father in heaven is great; I commit myself to him as much as possible. I would have never thought that there would be a love so great that could exist in life. But, now that I found God I believe and I know that life is worth living. Without him there would be no life or Earth. I love God and my love for him will never die. So therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship.
God’s commission is here whether you know it or not! God is coming into schools all across America. Every one out of five kids give their hearts to God everyday. I’m going to love it! God should be in our everyday life. Not like go to church one Sunday morning and then go out of church and do what you usually do. It doesn’t work that way. You have to be fully committed.
To be fully committed to God you have to pray and read your Bible(God’s word). God’s word could be very inspirational to you and it can help you in everyday life. I would like to share or tell you about some verses that inspire me. John 3:16 is reminding us of how he sent his son to die for our sins, and whoever believes in him will not die but have eternal life. Hebrews 6:19a is saying that we have is hope as an anchor for our soul and that it is firm and secure. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us to always be joyful and pray no matter what is going on around us. It also is stating that it is God’s will to see us happy all the time. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 is saying to let God be your father, your authority all through life. To let your spirit, soul, and body be kept clean at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. If he calls you faithful than he will let you enter his gates to the glorious place in the sky. Romans 12:12 is telling you to be joyful in hope, patient in what the devil brings your way and faithful in your prayer.
I hope these verses inspire you to find your way to God. May God’s mercy be with you. I feel that the love of God will leave you feeling very giddy. I thank God for sending his son, so that we sinners could have life. Love comes and goes but the love of Jesus Christ is for eternity.
