This group (formerly a sophomore chorus) is composed of 9th and 10th grade vocalists. Fundamentals of vocal musicianship are stressed -- note reading, pitch, rhythm, breath control and tone quality. Special attention is placed on basic concepts of group singing and voice production.

Students are afforded opportunities to perform in solo and ensemble contests, All-State Music Festival, concert and other school/community appearances. Choral literature of various styles and periods is studied. All students are scheduled for individual or group lessons with the director.
