“This is Josh, the one that’s caused you problems?” Brian asked disbelievingly.
“Caused her problems? What about me?”
“Josh, please leave. You have no right to be here”
“Actually, I do. It’s called parental rights. I deserve to see my daughter”
“Well, you could see her all you want if you were around more”
“He’s the father?” Brian asked confusingly.
“Yes, I’m the father. And Amy, if you weren’t such a bitch about it, I would be here for her every moment of the day”
“That’s bullshit, Josh and you know it”
“So what if it is? I think its bullshit that she actually is my daughter. I look at her and I don’t see me. I see someone else”
“Exactly, because she inherited my great looks” Amy shot back.
“You know what? I shouldn’t be here. Tell Kayla I stopped by” Josh said, than walked out the door.
“I have to go” Brian said, heading for the door.
“Brian, I can explain” Amy started but was too late. Brian was already out the door.
“I’ll go see what’s up,” Nick said, than left as well.
“Let’s not let a little mishap ruin the party,” AJ said as the radio started to play once more and everyone went back to what they were doing.
“You guys should leave. The party’s over so just go home,” Amy announced.
“We’re staying, Amy. Who cares about him anyways?” Meg said, trying to cheer her up.
“Okay, I’m confused. Who the hell is Josh and since when did you have a daughter?” Em asked.
“Sit down, this will take a while” Amy said as the girls sat around.
“Umm, Lissa can I talk to you for a minute?” Kevin asked.
“Yeah, I guess. Be right back girls” She said, and left the others to talk with Kevin.
They walked outside and sat on the steps, not saying a word for the longest time until Lissa decided to speak up.
“So what did you need, Kev?”
“Well, I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry I’ve been ignoring you and I guess I’m sorry for that night because you probably hate me” He said, than stood up and started to walk back inside.
“Wait, You should hate me. I ignored you and I didn’t make an effort to call you or visit you,” She said, standing as well.
“I can’t hate you. You’re too beautiful and I like you. A lot” He said smiling.
“Maybe we should try this all over again”
“Or maybe we could just forget the last few days we’ve been apart”
“Your idea seems a lot better” Lissa flirtatiously responded.
“C’mon here. I missed you” Kevin answered, pulling her close and giving her a sweet kiss. They stood there just kissing and happy to be together again. Suddenly, Lissa broke kiss.
“I missed you too,” Lissa said and they kissed once more.

“What the hell do want, AJ?” Kristen asked, once her and AJ were in her room.
“We need to talk?”
“Yeah and what do you want to talk about?”
“I wanna talk about us”
“There is no us. You’re going to be getting married to someone else”
“I know, but I think I still have feelings for you”
“Bad time to be bringing that up, don’t you think? You’re fiancé is right outside that door”
“Don’t you think I know that? Don’t you think I would like to just get rid of these feelings so I could be happy with Meg? It’s not that goddamn easy”
“I know that because I’m in the same position. I still love you” Kristen said without realization.
“You what?”
“Oh god, I did not just say that. I did not just make things more complicated”
“I still love you, too” AJ declared, surprising Kristen.
“Wh…what?”
“I can’t deny these feelings for you. I’m thinking about you more and more lately and yet I can’t because of Meg”
“You have to be with her. You love her and you’ll be happy with her”
“I’ll be happier with you” He said, than walked over to her and kissed her.
Kristen was shocked, to say the least, and wasn’t sure what was happening. The kiss deepened and they no longer cared what happened because they felt right with each other. She knew that was too good to be true and broke off the kiss.
“I can’t do this. Meg is my friend and I can’t ruin that friendship,” Kristen said. She walked out, leaving a very bewildered and confused AJ.

“C’mon Bri, you knew the father was gonna show up sooner or later”
“That’s not why I’m angry”
“Could you explain why than?”
“She…Amy’s different. I don’t know her anymore”
“Hello? Are you in there? You haven’t seen her in three years. She has a kid now, a responsibility that is very important to her. She can’t just run away and have a fling or a relationship just like that. She has to look out for Kayla as well. I thought you knew that”
“I do but she’s so…distant. It’s like I can’t reach out to her and that she doesn’t want me”
“Are we talking about the same Amy here? Cause the one I know would do anything to be with you, and both you and I know that’s a fact”
“Nick, as much as I’m loving this heart-to-heart, she’s now going to come running into my arms just like that”
“You forgot about that double date we have tomorrow. Until then, you have some major thinking to do. I’m tired and I’ll see ya in the morning” Nick said, than went to his room.
“That’s one thing I’m sure of. I need to think about everything”

The guys had eventually left, as well as Lissa and Em, after awhile since the party wasn’t that exciting anymore. So now Amy, Cate, Kristen, Kat, and Meg were all sitting around the kitchen table.
“Kat and Meg, I think you deserve to know something,” Amy said suddenly.
“You’re not gonna tell them, are you?” Kris interrupted.
“Are you sure you want to?” Cate asked as well.
“Alright, I’m definitely lost” Kat said.
“Same here. Could you please be more descriptive?” Meg asked, sitting there.
“This isn’t easy to say, but here it goes. As you know, three years ago we met the guys and that’s how we know them. Well, each one of us became involved with one of them and let’s just say, we’re not exactly over them”
“That’s why you and Brian are always avoiding each other?” Meg asked surprised.
“Yeah, you could say that, but that’s not everything”
“Than continue with this lovely story” Kat said sarcastically.
“Brian and I…that’s a story for the ages. Shortened version, met on bad circumstances which led to us kissing, which turned into more fights than more kissing, getting stuck on a island with some more confusion and it just goes on” Amy said, pouring her whole heart out.
“You and Brian, I always thought you two made a cute couple,” Megs said smiling.
“Anyway, the night before the cruise ended…well, we took it to the nest level”
“Aww, that’s so sweet. You and Brian…wait” Meg said, suddenly realizing something.
“Okay, so what does this have to do with Josh?” Kat asked confused.
“Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I didn’t see it before” Meg said, bringing a hand over her mouth.
“See what before? What the hell is the big deal?”
“Umm…Josh isn’t the father” Amy said, trying to get Kat to see it but she was still lost.
“Okay, now we’re getting somewhere. Than who is the father?”
“I’m ready to smack her. Could someone help her out?” Amy said laughing.
“Kat, the father isn’t Josh because of the cruise. Brian is Kayla’s father” Cate finally said.
