Nick was getting ready for the dinner when there was a knock on the door. He went over and opened it to reveal Brian.
“Yo Nick, is this okay?” Brian asked his friend as he walked into Nick’s room. He was wearing a blue Polo golf shirt and a pair of khakis.
“Yeah, it looks fine. Trying to impress someone, are we?” Nick asked. He was wearing the same as Brian but his golf shirt was forest green.
“If you’re talking about who I think, no I’m not. Besides, I have Leigh Ann”
“You broke up with Leigh, remember? Little memory loss there? Anyway, I’m sure you have the hots for Amy” Nick said.
“Oh yeah. She just turns me on. Please man, she’s too bitchy”
“From hearing your story, I don’t blame her”
“Thanks for taking my side” Bri said sarcastically.
“No problem man. I am going to see if AJ is ready”
“Go ahead” Brian said as Nick left the room, leaving him to think about…..Amy

“They’re late. What a great first impression” Amy said sarcastically. She was wearing a spaghetti-strapped white shirt and a khakis skirt. Her hair was half-up.
“They’re not late, you’re just over-reacting” Steph said. She was wearing a blue tank top and khakis shorts. Her hair was tied back into a high ponytail.
“You guys never did tell me who was coming to this” Kristen said. She was wearing a pink three-quarter sleeve shirt and khakis shorts. Her hair was down and had a few clips in it.
“We didn’t? Well let’s just say three-fifths of the Backstreet Boys and a possible relative of an *NSyncer will be here” Catelyn said. She was wearing a lavender tank top and a khakis skirt. Her hair was pulled back into cute little pig-tails.
“In other words, Brian, Nick, AJ, and Joe?” She asked
“Yeah…In fact here they come. Oh whoop-dee do, let the fun begin” Amy said sarcastically as Brian, Nick and Aj walked over to us.
“Well hello ladies. My name is Aj and……Kristen! We meet again” He said.
“Hello AJ. I see you haven’t tried to take my advice” Kristen said referring to his tattoos. He was wearing a black tank top and a pair of khakis.
“This is how I impress the ladies, by showing off my manly physique” He said, showing off his muscles.
“If you think that’s what women are looking for then I think you better go back to dating school and learn something” Kristen replied “I’m going to look for a table”
“I’ll come with you” AJ added as they both walked off into the dining room. Brian, Amy, Nick, Cate, and Steph remained waiting for Joe.
Brian was starting to think about how amazing Amy actually looked. *What am I thinking? She wouldn’t give me chance. Wait, I thought we hated each other. I’m becoming more confused with this situation…….* he continued thinking while Amy noticed and began to wonder what he was thinking about. *What is he thinking about? I don’t understand why we hate each other. Oh yeah. Now I remember, because he’s an asshole. I’m sure he didn’t mean it, maybe I should give him a chance…….* she continued to think until Brian interrupted her.
“You clean up nice” He said to her as nicely as he could.
“Thanks, so do you” Amy replied
“Don’t think I meant that as a compliment” He added, crushing any actual chance that they would have of being with each other.
“I never thought of considering it a compliment since it came out of your mouth”
“Trust me, I feel the same way”
“Would you two shut up?!?” Cate asked.
“NO!!” They replied in unison.
“Cate, if they hate each other so much then why do they have so much energy to fight with each other?” Nick asked.
“I’ve been wondering that myself, Nick”
“Hey guys, we can go in now. Joe’s been here for about two minutes now” Steph said.
“Those two wouldn’t know, they’ve been too busy arguing” Nick said pointing over to Amy and Brian who were still fighting.
“I’m a bitch, huh? Well at least I’m not bigheaded because I have lots of money!”
“That’s kind of hard considering you have no money!”
“Make them stop! Make them stop!” Cate pleaded, holding her hands to her ears.
“Why don’t we just leave them here?” Joe asked.
“I agree. Let’s go look for Kristen and AJ” Steph said.
“Alright” Joe replied, leaving Nick and Cate behind.
“What do you suggest we do now, Nick?” Cate asked.
“That’s it! Okay, I’ve got a plan” He replied.
“Well spit it out already”
“I’ll tell you during dinner but right now I suggest we separate those two before something happens”
“Good idea” She replied as we walked over to them.
“Come on Frick, let’s get some food” Nick said.
“Fine, as long as I don’t have to sit next to her” He replied.
“The feelings mutual, buddy” She hissed.
“This plan better work, Nick”
“Don’t worry, it will”
