Chapter 3- Arrival

*Later, on the cruise ship*

“This is one big ass cruise ship” Steph said.

“Yeah it is. What are our room numbers again?” Amy asked.

“Room # 210, 211, 212, and 213. Why do you ask?” Cate said holding up four keys.

“Just wondering. I call Rm. #213!” Amy shouted.

“Calm down Amers. I guess I’ll take Rm. #211” Kristen said.

“I’ll take Rm. #210” Steph replied.

“I guess I have no other option then to take Rm. #212” Cate stated.

“I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to start unpacking” Amy replied.

“I’m going to the pool. Anyone care to join me?” Steph asked.

“I guess I will. I need to work on my tan anyway” Cate replied.

“You don’t have a tan, Cate” Kristen said.

“So what’s your point?” She asked.

“Nevermind. I’m going to the bar to get something to drink. Don’t worry, it won’t be alcohol. I’m too thirsty to get drunk right now” Kristen said.

“That’s nice to know I guess” Amy replied sarcastically “Anyway, how about we meet for dinner in two hours. Is that okay with everybody?”

“Sounds like a plan to me. I’m gonna get ready for the pool” Cate said heading for her room.

“Two hours is fine with me. Wait up Cate!” Steph said trying to catch up to Cate.

“It’s okay with me. I am going to head to the bar now” Kristen said.

“See ya later.” Amy replied, walking to the elevator.

She walked in, not noticing the other person in the elevator. She pressed ‘2’ and turned around, facing him. He was tall, about 6’1”, and had short brown hair. He had the nicest green eyes. The funny thing was, he looked awfully familiar.

“Hi, I’m Kevin” He replied sticking out his hand to shake.

“I’m Amy, nice to meet you” She said shaking his hand then realized it was Kevin from the Backsteet Boys. She couldn’t believe it.

“You just realized who I was didn’t you?” He asked, reading her thoughts.

“You could say that. Well, here’s my stop. I’ll see ya later I guess”

“This is my stop, too. What’s your room number if you don’t mind me asking”

“It’s okay. My room no. is 213. You?” She said as they walked off the elevator.

“We’re near each other. My room is 217” He said smiling

“Wow, well I guess I’ll see ya more than likely” She said.

"This is my room obviously so I’ll see you later, Amy”

“Okay. Bye Kev.” She said and walked to her room. She saw Steph and Cate about to leave so she stopped them. “Yo guys, you’ll never believe who I bumped into”

“Tell us girl. We really want to get to the pool so make it quick” Steph said.

“Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys which means they are one of the groups staying on this cruise ship!” Amy said excitedly.

“You’re kidding right? Oh my God! This is too cool!” Cate said.

“This is cool but we’re going to the pool okay bye now” Steph said, all in one breath and dragging Cate with her towards the elevator.

“This is going to be a great vacation” Amy replied walking into her room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *At the bar*
Kristen was sitting there, drinking her Shirley Temple when she started to feel like someone was watching her. She looked from side to side but there was no one there.
Then someone tapped her on her shoulder which scared her half to death.
“AAAHHHH!” She yelled.
“Shhh! I didn’t mean to scare you. Sorry” The stranger said.
Kristen turned around to become face-to-face with the most gorgeous guy she had ever seen. He was about her height with chocolate brown eyes and hair that seemed to be dyed teal at the moment. The tips were teal anyway. She also noticed his tattoos since he had a cut-off T-shirt on. That gave his identity away.
“Well hi there. I’m Kristen”
“I’m A-…..Alex” He replied.
“Well Alex, what are the other three extra bottles of water for?” She asked.
“Umm…I…my friends were kind of thirsty so I thought I’d be a nice friend”
“Right. Nice try, AJ. I know who you are and your three other friends must be Howie, Nick, and Brian” She said.
“How do you know it wasn’t Kevin and not Howie?” He asked.
“Because Kevin isn’t the type of guy who would play b-ball when you just got on the cruise ship(okay there’s a b-ball court on the ship so you’ll all just have to play along. Thanks!) Knowing him, He’s probably unpacking” She replied.
“Damn, you’re good.”
“Oh and another thing, don’t make those tattoos so damn obvious” She said as she paid for drink and left, leaving a puzzled yet intrigued AJ.
“She’s feisty. I like that” He replied smiling.
