The Backstreet Boys had just finished singing “Don’t Want To Lose You Now” and had a break to catch their breath and get a quick drink because *NSYNC was performing.
“Yo Nick, do you think it would be cool if we dedicated the next song to the girls? Since they are nice and all” Brian asked.
“I guess, maybe Catelyn will finally get the clue that I want to go out with her”
“I think it’s a great idea because they are kind of close. What gave you the idea, Bri?” AJ asked curiously.
“I was thinking we should dedicate a song to them so…that’s how it came up”
“Sure, Bri. We know the real reason why you want to dedicate it to them” Nick said.
“Yeah, probably wants to dedicate it to…..” AJ began to say when Brian punched him in the arm.
“Don’t even say the first letter of her name, okay? I’m trying to get over her”
“What? You guys like each other though” Howie said.
“How would you know, Howie?” Nick asked.
“You don’t think I just sit there and play dumb, do you?”
“Well……you never know. Anyway, we don’t belong with each other” Bri said.
“Brian, you know that’s not true. No matter how many times you guys ruined things with each other, you always ended up back together…..and then ruin it again but who knows” Nick said.
“You guys are back on in a minute” The stage manager said.
“Whatever happens between you two, I’m sure in the end you’ll be together… hopefully” AJ said.
“Thanks. That meant a lot, Bone” Bri said.
“I’m glad that made you feel better. Now let’s go show those people out there what the Backstreet Boys are made of” AJ said, pumped up and ready to perform.
“YEAH!” They all replied, walking out onto the stage.

The guys had managed to get the girls front row seats. They were all talking about how exciting it was to be that close to the stage.
“Hey guys, do you know what song they’re singing next?” Amy asked.
“I don’t know but I hope it’s one of my favorites” Cate said.
“What song isn’t your favorite?” Kristen asked.
“Come to think of it, I don’t know” Cate said laughing. Just then, the curtains went up and they walked out. Brian and Nick seemed to be goofing off. AJ was thinking about something, and Kevin and Howie were talking.
“I think they’re gonna announce their next song” Steph said.
“No Steph, they’re gonna announce that the ship is sinking. What do you think they're going to do?” Cate said sarcastically.
“Sorry about that. I was acting like you for a minute” Steph shot back jokingly.
“Whatever” Cate said as the guys stopped what they were doing and started to talk.
“This next song is dedicated to four special ladies we just met yesterday. It’s called ‘The One’” Brian announced as AJ began to sing the first verse.
“I can’t believe they dedicated a song to us!” Amy said.
“I know. I didn’t think we were that special” Cate said.
“Would you two shut up? I wanna hear AJ sing” Kristen said just as his part ended.
They continued singing until it came to the part where Brian sung by himself.

He started singing then looked directly at Amy, locking her eyes with his own. Without thinking, they smiled at the same time as if they knew everything would be okay.
“Amy…Amy…AMY!” Cate said “Hello? Are you there?”
“What? Yeah, I’m fine” She said as her smile became bigger.
“If only I knew what was going on in that head of yours” She said
When Brian and the guys were finally finished, they went back to their rooms and took showers or whatever they needed to do. Nick got Brian to actually go with Amy, Cate, and him on the tour. What they were going to do was that they would visit some island for the day and come home later on at night time. Nick thought this would be the perfect opportunity for Amy and Brian to admit to their true feelings. He finally decided on wearing his green bathing suit and a T-shirt. He grabbed some other things, just in case something happened.
“Nick, are you ready yet?” He heard Cate ask from the other side of the door.
“Yeah, just give me a minute” He answered and headed over to the door.
He opened the door and there was Catelyn in the same green bikini she had on when they first met. She was also wearing jean shorts and sandals. He must of been staring because Catelyn started to get a little uncomfortable.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to stare. Come on in.” He said.
“That’s okay, I’ll just take it as a compliment” She answered walking in.
“So is Amy or Bri ready yet?” He asked.
“Amy is almost ready and Brian is still packing a few things”
“Okay, do you have any sun-tan lotion? I can’t find mine” He said.
“Yeah, here it is” She said and was about to give it to him when she ran from him “You’ll have to catch me first, though” She added.
He didn’t waste anytime as he began to chase her. When he finally caught up to her, he grabbed her and threw her onto the bed, pinning her arms down with his hands.
“I suggest you hand over the lotion now”
“Maybe I don’t wanna” She said.
“Okay then we can do this the hard way” He said and began to tickle her.
“That’s not fair! Stop it!” She said in between laughs and then kicked his legs causing him to fall on top of her.
They realized what was going on and stopped laughing. They looked at each other and inched their faces closer until their lips met in a sweet, gentle kiss. Nick let go of her arms so she could wrap them around his neck. They continued to kiss, not even showing the slightest sign of stopping. Then there was a knock on the door causing them to jump off of each other. Catelyn ran over and opened the door, running past a very confused Brian. He was wearing his blue bathing suit and a T-shirt also.
“Did I miss something?” He asked.
“Wouldn’t you like to know” Nick said a little angry yet a little sad.
“Just tell me you didn’t ruin things with Cate by kissing her”
“Was I not suppose to?” Nick asked confused as well.
“You idiot! How do you think this whole thing with Amy and me started?”
“I just thought you two couldn’t take the insults from one another”
“You have a good point there, my friend, but I suggest you think of a way to apologize to Cate. I’ll be downstairs waiting” Bri said and walked out the door.
Brian was waiting for at least one of the other three to show up when he noticed a cute blonde near the stairs. He was about to make a move until…
“I see your chasing one of those blonde bimbos” Amy said from behind him.
“For your information, I’m sure she’s very intelligent. Plus, you know you’re my first priority on that subject” He said, turning around to face Amy. She was wearing a blue bikini and jean shorts. She also had a backpack for all her stuff.
“I’m touched that you hold me that close to your heart, Littrell, but I can’t say I feel the same.” She said smiling.
“That hurt but I’m looking for an opinion here” He said sarcastically.
“What about your bad break-up?”
“Oh I forgot about that, but I can’t stay single forever, right?” He said winking.
“Then go for it. I mean you like her so ask her to dinner”
“We won’t be here tonight, we’ll be on some island. Remember?”
“I meant tomorrow, dumbass. It must take a lot to use that gray matter, doesn’t it?”
“Funny. Anyway, wish me luck” He said and headed towards the stairs.
Amy watched him as he walked up to that girl. *Why couldn’t that be me? I thought there was something in that kiss, correction kisses, but I guess I was wrong. I wonder if he feels anything for me. Where the hell is Cate at?* She continued to think and noticed the girl start to laugh at something Brian said. *There he goes with that charm of his* He came back, holding a little piece of paper.
“Hey look, Amers. I got her room number”
“Calling me by my nickname now?”
“Oh sorry and yeah, I got a date”
“It’s okay. Anyway, have you seen Cate?”
Before Brian could answer, Cate came down the steps quickly with Nick right behind her. She didn’t look too happy and he just looked miserable.
“I’m sorry about the kiss, okay?” Nick said.
“Yeah, and you’re also sorry it ever happened” Cate answered.
“Wait, what did I miss?” Amy asked confused.
“I never said that, Cate, and you know it”
“Okay, you didn’t say it but I think we should forget about it”
“WHAT? How can you say that?” Nick asked as they continued the argument.
It reminded Amy and Brian how stupid they acted and kind of brought back some painful memories.
“Listen Brian, I’m sorry about everything. Especially your eye.”
“It’s okay, I mean we just met so we should be friends”
“Absolutely. I just had this weird feeling of deja vu” Amy said laughing.
“So did I. Let’s get these two away from each other before they kill each other”
“Good idea. We better go or we’ll be late” Amy said .
They got the other two and walked towards the exit so when they docked they were ready to get off and hop onto the little boat they would be taking. Where they were going, none of them knew.
