Chapter 9-Mickey Mouse Club Memories

The next day, the girls woke up to the sound of the phone ringing off the hook.

"Howdy, Ranger Rick speaking." Cate said with as much enthusiasm she had.
"Hi, I was wondering if this is the phone number of a Catelyn Bergan?" Nick asked the strange person on the other side of the phone.
"This is Catelyn. How may I help ya?" Cate replied.
"Hey, this is Nick. Nice way to answer your phone." Nick said, cracking up.

Amy then started to get curious about who was on the phone especially since it woke her up from a very good dream about Brian.

"Yo Wacko, who is on the damn phone?" Amy screamed from her bedroom.
"It's Nick." Catelyn screamed back.
"o0o0o0o0o0 it's Lover Boy." Kristen said, teasing Catelyn.
"I'm going to kill you, Kristen." Threatened Catelyn, "Oh no wait you'll get A.J. to come and save you. Sorry I forgot."

All Catelyn heard on the other line was laughing.

"Well I'm glad someone thought that was funny cause I sure as hell don't." Cate said sarcastically.
"Oops, I'm sorry, but you should have heard you guys. So they always pick on you?" Nick asked.
"Pretty much, but that's because I'm the youngest and the one with the least common sense." Cate explained to Nick.
"Oh I see now. Well, the reason I called is because Brian and I wanted to know if you girls wanted to go to Disney World with us?" Nick inquired hoping the answer would be yes.
"I don't see why not, but I have to ask Amy, so can you call back in fifteen minutes?" Cate asked.
"Sure, no problem." Nick replied.

After Cate hung up with Nick she ran into Amy's bedroom like a little girl in a candy store. Amy was already back asleep, so Cate started to jump on her bed screaming.

"We're going to see Mickey!"
"You better have a damn good reason why you're jumping on bed." Amy said harshly.
"Well, how about that we're going to go see Mickey and Minnie Mouse?" Cate asked innocently.
"Nope, not working, but since I love you you've got one more chance." Amy replied.
"Oh alright. How about we're going to spend a fun day in Disney World with the two extremely hot guys we met the other day?" Cate asked again.
"Oh my Gosh! A day with Brian. Ahhh!" Amy exclaimed.
"I know, Isn't that great? What am I going to wear? I have nothing." rattled Cate.
"Calm down, girlie. You can borrow something of mine if you want?" Amy said.
"Thank You! Thank you!" Cate said, continuing to jump on Amy's bed.

Cate was still jumping on Amy's bed singing what ever Disney Song came to her mind, when the phone rang. Cate quickly jumped off the bed and darted to the phone. The only problem was she forgot where she put it. So she had to search for the phone. Just as Nick was going to hang up he heard a click.

"Hello, Wacko incorporated. How may I please you" Cate asked into the receiver. She was trying to catch her breathe from running around.
"Your welcomes get better every time I call and where you running cause you sound out of breath?" Nick answered.
"Oh hey Nick, What's up and no I didn't take a run I was looking for the phone. When I hung up with you I lost it." Cate said.
"Oh I see. Well nothing is up but the ceiling. I was just wondering what your answer was?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, Amers and I would be delighted to join you guys." Cate answered.

Amy then came walking into Cate's room laughing at her face, which was full with excitement. Amy knew that she had to be talking to Nick. No one since Sean, wait not even Sean could have her smiling so big.

"Hey Cate, I was wondering I could borrow your hair clip thingy?" Amy asked, still laughing to herself.
"Sure thing, sweets." Cate answered.
"Okay, now where did ya put it?" Amy asked again.
"On my dresser with my perfume and stuff." Cate replied.
"Thank you Hun." Amy said, leaving Catelyn's room so she could finish talking to Nick.
"Alright, Brian and I will pick you girls up in about twenty minutes. Okay?" Nick asked.
"Sure, we'll be ready. Just beep and we'll come up out." Cate replied.
"Alright, see ya in a few." Nick told Cate.
"Okay, bye now."

When Cate hung up with Nick she ran downstairs to see Amy completely dressed and ready to go. Cate was still running around frantically trying to get ready. After about fifteen minutes Catelyn was finally ready to go. The girls still had about five minutes before the guys were due to pick them up. They decided to watch TV.

**HONK HONK HONK** "Oh, they're here." Amy said as she heard them honk. "Okay, Let's go get the girl." Cate replied with eagerness.

In the Car

"Do you know what Disney World reminds me of?" Cate asked everyone.
"What?" They all replied afraid of what the answer might be.
"The Nickey Mouse Club." Cate said.
"What did you say?" Nick asked.
"The Mickey Mouse Club. Duh!" Cate replied. "I used to love that show and especially the song at the end."
"Why doesn't that surprise me at all?" Brain asked.
"I don't know. Why ya asking me?" Cate asked.
"How did that song even go?" asked Nick.
"It went like this: M-I-C, see ya real soon K-E-Y..why because we love you M-O-U-S-E Whose the leader of them all that's made for you and me. M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E Mickey Mouse Donald Duck Mickey Mouse."

"This is going to be a long day." Brian whispered to Nick as he pulled into the parking lot at Disney World.
