Chapter 10-The Bet

"So gals, what ride do you want to go on first?" Brian asked with a southern twang.
"How about Mr. Toad's Wild Ride?" Cate inquired.
"Okay" They all replied.

On the way to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, they saw Mickey Mouse wandering around. The girls spotted him first and immediately ran over, pulling the guys along with them.

"What are you doing?" Nick asked.
"We are just dragging you two over to get a picture with Mickey Mouse and to get his John Hancock" Cate explained.
"No way. I'm not going to get a picture with a stuffed mouse" Nick whined.
"Oh stop whining you baby. No one will say anything if you get your picture taken" Amy told him.
"Puh puh puh please don't do this for me" Cate said while pouting.
"Damn it, I'll do it" Nick finally said.

After their picture with Mickey, they went on the rides. Three hours had passed of non-stop rides and they were starting to get hungry.

"Hey guys, do you guys want to get something to eat?" Brian inquired.
"Sure, that sounds great" They all responded.

They went to a restaurant in the park, where they chit-chatted and got to know each other a little better.

"What's your favorite movie?" asked a curious Nick.
"Mine is Dirty Dancing and Lady and the Trap" Cate replied.
"I love Dirty Dancing and Beaches" Amy added.
"Oh I see. You girls are Patrick Swaze fans" Brian said.
"No, not really. We just love the movie" They replied.
"So when are you guys going back on tour?" Cate asked, hoping the answer would be at least a month.
"Our first American tour starts next Wednesday, so we leave here on Monday night or early Tuesday morning" Nick explained.
"Wow, that's a little soon" Amy exclaimed.
"Yeah, we know. But don't worry, we won't forget about ya" Nick said and saw the sadness in the girls eyes.

~Same Time-Apartment~

RING! RING! RING!

"Hold on! I'm coming!" Kristen screamed as she ran around the house to find the phone, "Hello, Kristen speaking"
"Hey babe, what's up?" AJ asked.
"Nothing much, Bone. I'm just sitting around the house"
"That's cool. I was wondering if you wanted to go to a movie with me?"
"And when would that be?"
"Tonight in about two hours"
"That would be fantastic"
"Okay, see ya than. Bye now"
"Bye" Kristen said, hanging up the phone, "AAHHH!" She screamed a second later, and started to do a little dance from all the excitement around the house.
"What am I going to wear?" Kristen asked out loud to herself.

~Back at Disney World~

"Oh my gosh! Look at this" Cate said while pointing to a big stuffed dog from Lady and the Tramp.
"Girl, you would have no place to put that. Plus, it probably cost like seventy-five dollars" Amy replied.
"I know, but it's soo cute. I love it and it can go in my room" Cate explained.
"Well, how about this: if you go on Space Mountain with me, I'll buy you the dog" Nick bargained with her.
"Okay. You've got a deal" said Cate.

The group than decided to go to Space Mountain to complete the bet.

"Alright, here we go!" Nick told Catelyn as they got buckled in.
"Oh my! I don't think I can do this" Cate told Nick.
"You have no choice. If you want you can hold onto me if ya want?"
"Thanks so much, Nick"

After they got off the ride, The group decided to go grab something for dinner and watch the fireworks. When the fireworks finished, they decided to go home.

~Kristen and AJ~

Kristen and AJ went to see Deep Impact. They then went out to dinner at some little restaurant where no one could recognize AJ.

"That movie was so sad" Kristen told AJ.
"I know. I wish they didn't have to die"
"Yeah, but it was still a good movie"
"Yup"

After they ordered their food, they ate and paid for it, then drove home. When AJ pulled into the girls' driveway, he got out and walked Kristen to her driveway. They kissed and promised to call each other tomorrow to go to the beach.

~The other four~

"Well I had a great time today" Nick said.
"Me too. I was umm wondering if you guys wanted to maybe uh wanted to go to the beach with us tomorrow?" Cate asked, "Cause if you don't, we'll completely understand"
"Catelyn, stop! We would love to" Brian told her.
"Yes! I mean great. Can you guys come over about 11 tomorrow morning?" Cate said.
"Sure, that sounds fantastic!" Nick exclaimed, "Well, we better be going"
"Yeah, that's a good idea. See ya tomorrow girls" Brian said
"Bye!" Amy and Cate said at the same time.

The two girls watched the car pull out of their driveway and down the road until they couldn't see them anymore. They both let out a sigh, then turned and walked inside.
