The following is a list of bluegrass links that may be of interest to you. They are not listed in any particular order and inclusion in this list does not imply any endorsement by "The Yadkinville Bluegrass Contest & Fiddlers' Convention". We will be happy to include your web site here as well. The only requirement we have for inclusion is that the site must promote bluegrass music and events.

Cybergrass - Home of the "Bluegrass Music News Network." Cybergrass is the world's oldest bluegrass web site and is a central point for current bluegrass music news, reviews, and events. The site offers free want-ads, forums, chat, Amazon shopping, and much more. Updated daily with the very latest bluegrass information.

iBluegrass.com An extremely nice and well-run web site dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of traditional Bluegrass music as well as Newgrass. Take advantage of the FREE member options!

BluegrassCountry.org A good looking site with bluegrass music online. It has some interesting forums and discussion topics for members. (Registration is free, however donations are accepted to help keep the bluegrass online.)

Music From Foggy Hollow This radio program from "down under," hosted by Mike Kear, is one of the regular offerings from the BluegrassCountry.org line up. Get the playlist from current or past programs. Warning: This site might tickle your funny bone with its "Joke-Of-Week" winners!

Ozark Mountain Airwaves This Internet radio station plays a steady stream of GOOD bluegrass. Ozark Mountain Airwaves is powered by "Live365" (which has both free and premium options), this site has a good intro. Once you're there click "Listen" and enjoy!

Desk Top Grass A tasteful helping of bluegrass on the Internet. Go to this site and click "Listen Now!"

Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine The longest running monthly magazine devoted entirely to bluegrass music. Great articles and monthly features make this publication a must for every bluegrass fan. Visit this site to see what's coming up next month.

Bluegrass Now Magazine Another great magazine devoted to bluegrass and acoustic music. Includes monthly features and articles about bluegrass artists and events. A really nice publication for the avid bluegrass fan.

Bluegrass Music Profiles A new magazine on the scene! This publication offers "one-on-one" interviews with the people who are making and shaping bluegrass music today. A very informative publication.

Bluegrass Works is a group of folks who love bluegrass music, who want to see bluegrass music thrive, and who want to help support the musicians and other fans who help make the music. Some of them are musicians; some are not - they sure do have a nice web site!

Banjo Hangout. Whatever it is you want to know about banjos and banjo picking you'll find it here! Beginners and experts can all learn something from the wide range of banjo lessons and tablatures. North Carolina Bluegrass Network A member driven, bluegrass information network designed to make information about bluegrass music in North Carolina accessible to bluegrass lovers everywhere. International Bluegrass Music Association The official worldwide organization dedicated to the promotion of bluegrass music.

SEBA Official web site of the South Eastern Bluegrass Associaton. If you like to listen to bluegrass music, play bluegrass music, or would like to play bluegrass music, SEBA is the organization for you.

Discover Bluegrass Sanctioned by the IBMA, the Discover Bluegrass campaign was created to inform the bluegrass consumer about the music and where to find it, and to help broadcasters and retailers identify those consumers and convey the values of the genre. Check out the ads!

Carolina Music Ways Find out about all the music happenings in and around the northern piedmont area of North Carolina.

BluegrassLyrics.com This is a nice web site with an extensive collection of traditional bluegrass and early country music song lyrics. Songs are organized alphabetically and by the artists who performed them. There is also a category for bluegrass gospel songs. Easy to use and navigate.

Gary's Patio An interesting page with a large assortment of bluegrass & bluegrass gospel song lyrics. (Be sure to read Gary's disclaimer about the accuracy of the lyrics.)

Barb Diederich's Bluegrass Lyrics Index If you can't find the lyrics you're looking for on your favorite bluegrass lyrics site, click on over to Barb's site. She indexes song lyrics from all the major sites, one click takes you right to the site and the words - find them and compare between differing versions. Check out her other links as well.

Middle Tennessee Bluegrass Pasture This is a good site devoted to Bluegrass music in and around Middle Tennessee and Nashville including radio shows, venues, new releases, etc... It's worth checking into even if you are not from Tennessee.

Bluegrass Anonymous This site, from the Louisville Bluegrass Music Association, contains lots of links to other bluegrass sites. Once there, click on home to learn more about the association.

Porchpickin.com This site is worth looking at. Listen to some picking while you browse the site. You might learn a thing or two!

County Sales Thousands of Bluegrass and Oldtime recordings, books, and videos are available for purchase from this site - have them shipped directly to you. This site offers honest reviews of the products they sell and has a music links page.

The Birthplace of Country Music Alliancce (BCMA) is dedicated to calling attention to the crucial role played by artists from East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and the Southern Appalachian region in traditional old-time, country and bluegrass music.

Fiddlers.org The official web Home of Old-Time Fiddle Music with international resources for fiddlers and all acoustic musicians. Has a comprehensive links section and a nice sampling of fiddle music.

Banjo Newsletter America's Premier Five-String Banjo Magazine - covers all things banjo. Hear and download MP3's, get picking tips, check out the links, etc.

Southeast Bluegrass Links is a website dedicated to the promotion of Bluegrass Music in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky & the Carolinas.

PICKINBLUEGRASS.NET is a site put together by Fred Burton. Fred is retired and enjoys promoting bluegrass through this interesting site. Listen to a selection music while browsing his pages.

The Lone Hickory Bluegrass Jam Session is held each Wednesday evening a just a few miles outside of Yadkinville, North Carolina. Visit the web site for directions and other information.

Earl Scruggs The official Earl Scruggs web site. Has a nice intro with the classic "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" and a schedule of showdates.

The Del McCoury Band Official site of one of the hottest bands around including news, biographies, discography, tour schedule, photos, and message board. Nice Intro!

Rhonda Vincent One of the hottest performers in bluegrass today! Get the latest information about Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, including photos and tour dates.

Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers Larry Sparks is one of a very few who have created a distinctive style while remaining true to the best traditions of bluegrass.

Jimmy Martin The official web site of Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys complete with a personal greeting from the King of Bluegrass himself.

Southern Junction This band from Concord, NC took top honors at the 2002 edition of the Yadkinville Bluegrass Contest & Fiddlers' Convention. A really nice site worth checking out.

Jam'N Bluegrass Style Festival This festival is held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh and offers both a spring and a fall edition of the event. They have a great website with links providing lots of information about the performers. (The music ain't bad either!)

Roanoke FiddleFest A week-long celebration of traditional string music in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Both famous and local musicians headline scores of musical events. More fun than a barrel of banjo pickers!

Fiddlers? Grove The official web site of ?Fiddlers? Grove Festival and Campground? showcases one of the country?s oldest continuous running fiddlers? contests. Get information about the festival and campground as well as a history of the event.

Merlefest Web site of the annual Merlefest held in Wilkesboro, NC hosted by Doc Watson in memory of his late son Merle Watson. A nice and informative site. It also has a links section with numerous links to performers' hompages and to other bluegrass events.

King Creek Farm Park Dedicated to the preservation of old time Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel, this recently renovated tobacco farm will feature headline bluegrass and bluegrass gospel acts. Check out the web site - download the free "Shockwave" player!

Bass Mountain Music Park One of North Carolina's oldest and largest family style festivals with free camping for weekend ticket holders.

Galax Old Fiddlers' Convention The homepage of the World's oldest and largest Old Fiddler's Convention. This site provides all kinds of information including rules, schedule, registration, and even last year's winners.

Melfest BLUEGRASS MUSIC AT WHITE LAKE, N. C. Melfest is a two-day acoustic bluegrass music festival, held annually on the weekend after Memorial Day. For details, including the dates, check out the web page. www.melfestbluegrass.com
