MOONSPELL

once upon a moonlit night
Deep within the forest
by a dark crystal lake
I stole a gentle kiss
From an elfin girl
and all at once
There
under the silent stars
My sadness left me forever
as she placed her sweet magic spell
upon my lost lonely heart.

Lifetimes have I waited,
to hold you,
Sleeping in my arms,
Like a child,
Safe and warm,
Beneath the moon,
Untill the morning sun,
Carresses your face,
and I can kiss your sweet lips,
and steal you from a dream.

When you are alone,
and lonley,
The simplest things,
Become the hardest tasks.
But when you are together,
and in love,
The hardest tasks,
Become the simplest things.

RE-VAMP

I have a new life
In the dead of night
When all is still
My love comes to me
Draining my passion
Devouring my kisses
for hours she feeds
untill the dawn
finds me pale and weak
blinking helpless in the sunlight
My posessed, craving soul
already longing
for the creeping shadows
of the coming darkness.

TODAY

A small child hugged me
And for a moment
The warm glow
Almost mended
My broken heart

ENOUGH

If all that I am to you
All that I will ever be
Makes you want to give your love
Then my love will always be

If you need another love
For something that I cannot be
If I am not enough for you
You will never be enough for me

49

Today we met again
just like old times
Unexpectedly on purpose
At the allotted time
Or was I mistaken

We spoke politely
Our eyes spoke
Less politely

The power that flows between us
Could light up a small town

Are ya gonna squish me again or what?

THE DANCE

Here I go again
Falling back in love
After all this time
You'ld think I'd had enough
The things that I've been through
The heart aches of the past
Searching for someone
With a love that lasts

The day that we first met
I had a broken heart
I couldn't understand
Why we'd had to part
But now I clearly see
With all the passing time
Our love is meant to be
And you were always mine

I watch you from afar
I shiver at your voice
I need to hold your hand
I long to be your choice
If you are meant for me
And all the worlds a stage
Then let the players play
Let's hear the music rage

The people that we are
The lessons we have learned
Have brought us to this place
This love that we have earned
So let the music play
On me please take a chance
I long to be your love
and hold you in the dance
