My interpretation of the play:

The main question being asked in the story is 'What if Christ came now?' The program and poster of the musical both have a wonderful picture of Jesus casually walking down the street. The message is that he could have been any one of us. It makes you really think about him, his feelings and his life. The modernization of the play makes you able to relate to it more. The story covers the last seven days of his life. Judas's questioning of him, Mary's love for him, Judas's betrayal, Peter's denial, and Christ's trial and crucifixion are all included in the play to make it more emotional. With the rock music and the wonderful acting and singing, you'll remember the play forever. Go see it at Ford Center in New York City. You won't regret it.
