**Update 08/11/2004**

Allllllllrighty then....

This is Wes here writing from my lovely dial-up connection at my blessed beach on the very last night of free-from-work-dome.
This time off has been so great, I feel so renewed. I'm so much stronger and closer to normal health. at times I even forget that my leg is messed up to the point of requiring surgery.

Now, how about this weather?
Holy crap does it suck! Can you believe how cold it's been in Manitoba? Sheesh, Me neither!

I have been planning and searching and researching all of the neat things I can (and will most likely) be doing with my Personal training.. everything from Planning what the Fitness Protection Agency studio will be like to where I'm going to take pilates training and when.. What services I will provide for my clients to even pricing out what the equipment will cost!
I feel really good about this lately.. Very productive and creative when it's all been as simple as dreaming! (reality-based dreaming mind you, but, dreaming nonetheless)
The more I think about it the more I know I've made the right career choice. It just all fits so well (when I can do it myself and be my own boss, lol) things are going well, I'm not looking forward to going back to work though. If I could afford it? right now I would be a full time student!
I don't think I've ever had this much longing for knowledge before in my life.. it's great!! I never am left feeling stale, there's always something to keep my focus on, something to work towards.. it's just such a (pardon my watching too much BBC lately) brilliant feeling to always have a direction and a goal. I love it!
I'm going to miss this place again though.. I gotta get back out here more..

Okay, now onto my boyfriend...
Boy oh boy do I love him! He makes me so happy, takes such good care of me no matter what (I've already tested that a few times) and just supports and loves me back.. I'm completely in love and for all of the right reasons and it's not going away. 1 year and it just keeps getting better, WEEEHOOO!!

Now, don't get my wrong here, not everything is so wonderful.. here's a little list to bring y'all back to reality
#1. I have a busted knee, am going to have surgery that will lay me up for a long time and also a brutal recovery.
#2. I am flat broke returning to a job that I'm not in love with (great people, not a fabulous job) that requires little effort to do well and pays for every bit of that effort.
#3. I miss 2 of my closest friends that moved away to the states (a year a piece) Val and Krisa.. Love them so much, wish I could see them right this very moment! (would go see them in the US but with time off work and missed work due to the injury I'm broke and can't afford it)
#4. any and everything else that sucks! hehe

But that is my latest update, I think that's all I have in me, now I have to pack my bag *sniff* and leave my home *sniff, sniff*
