This is where you can download all of the latest TORTURED mp3s, listen to
wav. clips -- streamed directly from the site -- and even buy a
damn CD! It looks like crap, but it's hard to make an MP3.com page look
good, so ignore the frames and check out the songs. Some don't even suck!
This is my lovely girlfriend's page. There's pictures of some of our freakish friends,
a picture of me getting made up for a bored winter "goth" night, and other random
insanity.
One of the best band's in the world. They always have wicked cool shit,
even if it is little more than some strange logo saying "Under COnstruction."
A lot of cool philosophical letters from fans, if you can find them . . .
If you don't know it, you don't get it.
My buddy's page. S'got some cool shit.
Everything from The Fraggle Rock theme to Zebrahead (whoever the fuck they are). Very cool page.
I've spent hours there just checking out Deftones and Pantera and Tool tabs and learning all the songs.
(BTW: Deftones are fun and usually easy; Tool is fun and hard as hell. One makes a great
stepping-stone for the other).
If you're a necrophile or very interested in the real world, check
out this page. No censorship, no warnings. This is brutal
reality.
Another great band. Seen these guys twice -- once with White Zombie and (gag gag) Monster Magnet, and once at
Ozzfest '99 -- and both times they fuckin rocked the place.
They usually have some wicked cool contests and chances to win tickets to shows
or free copies of whatever video game or computer software they are
featured on (which is quite a bit).
Seen these guys at Ozzfest '99. Once they get a good sound-man, their
shows will be much better, but they are still one of the best
studio musicians in America right now.
Really cool, funky fusion-metal band from CA. Seen them by accident at
Ozzfest '98 and talked to them in a Chatroom once. Very nice guys, witty as hell.
Don't ever ask them stupid questions, because they'll make you
feel like an even bigger jack-ass than you are.
MIDI software that all TORTURED is written on. It's not the
best MIDI editor, but it is very easy and comprehensive, with
tutors and a helluvalot of add-ons, if you can afford to dish out
twenty bucks for each accessory. Nothing is free in life.
