Millencolin is:

Nikola Sarcevic - Vocals, Bass
Erik Ohlsson - Guitar
Mathias Farm - Guitar
Fredrik Larzon - Drums

It was the winter of 1992. Three crazy Swedes got together and started a skatecore band. Mathias and Nikola had been playing in Seigmann, and Frederik in Kung Punk. They weren’t happy, however, and formed Millencolin. Their name comes from a skateboarding trick, roughly translated into Swedish. In the summer of ’93, Millencolin produced a 10 song demo tape titled "Melack". The newly-founded Burning Heart Records discovered and signed them. Their "Use Your Nose" was released in the fall of 1993.

After playing gigs all over the place, they put out the EP "Skauch" in 1994. That summer, they entered the studio and made their first full-length, "Tiny Tunes". They got into some legal hot water from Warner Brothers because of that gay cartoon of the same name, so the title of the album was changed to "Same Old Tunes". The single off the album, "Da Strike", reached #9 on the Swedish Billboard charts, and "Tunes" was a huge success in Millencolin’s home country.

In 1995 the ‘Colin released "Life On A Plate", and did some major touring. They hit it big in Switzerland, France, and England. Late in the year, Bad Religion’s Brett Gurewtiz contacted the band and asked them if Epitaph Records could release "Life" in the US. And so it happened in March of 1996.

In the spring of 1997, "For Monkeys" was released. The titled was derived from the band’s inside joke of calling each other monkeys (crazy Swedes if you ask me). The songs "Lozin Must", "Vixen", and "Mr. Clean" were all huge. Millencolin did a Euro tour in May, then joined the Warped Tour. They hit Australia and Japan that fall.

After the touring, Millencolin went home to rest. Epitaph released "Same Old Tunes" in the US. A video called "Millencolin and the Hi-8 Adventures" was released as well. The band eventually hit the studio and began work on their fourth album.

In February of 2000, "Pennybridge Pioneers" was released. The album was backed by the song "No Cigar", which had been floating around the Web and also showed up on "Punk O Rama 5". Once again, the Swedes hit the road for extensive touring. They played the 2000 Warped Tour, and totally brought the place down. As of right now, the ‘Colin is wrapping up Warped and starting work on a fifth album, which is sure to kick ass.
