Social Stigma has been together since sometime in 1999.
Social Stigma (currently only a three piece band) is featured on two Wee Rock Records compilation cds. The 5 Year Anniversary Sampler and "Lessons in Rock."
Dan joined the three piece in the later part of 1999.
The Social Stigma Webpage was started ut of pure boredom at 2 o'clock in the morning.
The first full lengeth CD "Land O'Possumbilities" is released in April of 2000.
Jake was the first person to quit the band, just before their 2000 summer tour with Fugue.
Ryan played bass on the tour in place of Jake.
Dan left the band right after the tour because he is currently going to college at MU in Colombia, MO.
Steven joined the band as the new bass player.
Jake rejoined the band as the other guitarist.
Fall 2000 Dave moves up to Colombia, MO so the band decides that Social Stigma's playing days are over.
Dave moves back after four months.
Social Stigma gets back together and looks for new bass player and another guitarist.
Dallas joins the band as the new bass player.
