Completely Unofficial Ritchie Valens Page

Ritchie Valens was a phenomenom of the pop world in 1958. His first single, Come On, Let's Go! charted at #42 in October 1958 and soon Ritchie would become a household name. His greatest hit, Donna, hit #3 on the national charts and it's B-side, La Bamba, was doing great on the charts also at the time of his death, peaking at #22. Ritchie died in a plane crash on the 1959 Winter Dance Party Tour. The date was February 3, 1959. This date has gone down in history as the day the music died. Ritchie passed away when he was only 17, but he will forever be remembered in his music.
