Meng Keo Pichenda, in my opinion is Cambodia's best female singer. Her voice is really sharp, smooth, pleasant and appealing to the ears. I'd say that I became interested in Cambodian music after listening to her songs. My family really like Meng Pichenda, most of the c.d.'s and karaoke that we own contains her songs. On January 8, 2000 I actually got to see Miss Meng Pichenda and Mr. Noy Vannate performed live in Denver. Their voices were unbelievable; it sounded better than on the c.d.'s. Not only did she sang beautifully, but she was also a great entertainer, she was lively, funny, and charming. If you ever get a chance to see Meng Pichenda perform, you should not miss the opportunity because it would definitely be a worthwhile experience.
