Nightlights is a small alternative rock festival that is going to take place at the Bem Rockpart (I. Bem rakpart 6 - near Batthyany ter and just a few steps away from the French Institute) on Saturday, March 11, 2000.
Nightlights Festival, which is a follow-up to the recent ValentineFest, will feature three bands, about which you can find more information on these pages by clicking on their logos. Here we'd just like to ensure you that young talents of Hungarian alternative rock Malacka és a Tahó, Melody Maker's favourite Hungarian punk pop act Bankrupt and Mano Negra-style sailor punks Placidi all represent the finest of the Budapest underground rock scene.
We'd like to draw your attention to the fact that the concerts will start DEAD ON TIME, as the noise should stop until 23:30. So be there well before 20 p.m., lest you miss any of the bands.
Tickets will cost 600 forints. Make sure you don't throw your ticket away as there will a drawing at the end of the show, where you can win various prizes (such as CDs and tapes) offered by the performing bands.
