//chapter//\\fifteen\\

At nine twenty Jenni was practically shoving her friends through the door.
Malory still stopped to say goodbye to her father even thought Jenni protested that they would be late.
Jenni practically threw them down the stairs. Then she took the lead and began heading for Port Royale.
It was a beautiful morning in Florida. The sun sent down its golden rays, which danced across the shimmering lake. The sky was in complete pastel mode. The tropical birds on the island crowed their approval of the beautiful spring day, and the flowers that had been planted along the path that the girls traveled were out in their full glory. The dew had been dried off the grass for hours now, but the smell of moisture still lingered in the air and suffocated the girls as they huffed and puffed to keep up with their speeding friend, Jenni.
When they arrived at Port Royale Jenni shoved them through the building to the parking lot. She finally stopped at the curb and just stood as though she was waiting for something. "God, Jenni. What's up with the rushing all over the place?" Malory asked as she tried to catch her breath.
"Jenni. What exactly are you planning on having us do today?" Katie demanded.
Suddenly, a faint voice was heard saying, "Hey! Over here! Come on!"
The girls looked and saw the Moffatts hanging out of a van, across the parking lot, waving at them.
Katie, Jenica, and Malory all looked at Jenny with questioning looks on their faces. She simply shrugged and started walking towards the van. The others followed and became more excited with every step that they took towards their current love interests.
Before the girls knew it they had climbed into the van and had been miraculously escorted to the seat, which suited each one best. Bob and Dave were in the very back seat and Katie and Jenni sat next to them without giving it a second thought. Clint sat in the bucket seat directly behind the driver's seat so Jenica sat in the matching one behind the passenger seat. As for Scott, he was driving, so Malory found herself in shotgun.
They took off. At first there was quite a bit of conversing going on between the passengers, but it started to taper away until there was little speaking at all.
Malory looked back to see what was keeping everyone so quiet. She regretted looking. Katie and Bob were completely emersed in a game of footsie, armsie, handsie, and... well, you get the idea. Jenni and Dave were indulged in a conversation of their own which didn't seem to include the other passengers in the vehicle. As for Jenica and Clint, well, they had found that it was much more comfortable to play tonsil hockey if they shared a seat instead. She was sitting on his lap. Scott and Malory, meanwhile, laughed their asses off at the spectacle that his brothers and her friends created. Oh, come now! Who wouldn't laugh?
