At 9 am, we arrive at The Civic hall. There's nobody around, we're the first. I know it's pretty early, but I didnt expect we would be the first.
At 10:30, two others arrive. We went together to the stage door to wait for Melanie, who usually arrives about 4 or 5 pm. We were far too early!
We've been waiting very long, and at 3 o'clock we decided to go back to the stage door. A security guy told us Melanie would arrive at 16:30 in a silver Mercedes, but we didnt believe him.
At 3:45 pm Melanie finally arrived. We all had to stand in a row. Melanie got out of the bus, she looked great! Although I was standing behind everybody, I got very close to Melanie. I bought her a teddy, and I said Please Melanie take it... and she did! OMG I couldnt believe it, and I still cant!
We went back to the front of the venue, there were about 20 ppl. And then, it started raining! At 7 pm, the doors finally open. There were 6 or 7 doors, and the door we were right in front of opened first! I ran inside, and I was standing in the center of the first row, great!!
First, BBmak, the supporter act, did their thing. But I just wanted to see Melanie!
Then, finally, what we all did it for, from Holland to Wolverhampton, all those hours we had been waiting, All the money we spent to get there, and finally Melanie walked on stage. She was wearing a t shirt with a face on it. She smiled, the audience screamed, and she kicked off with Go. She was standing right in front of me, amazing! I took some pics, which will be on Melcworld soon. The next one was Northern Star. That was pretty funny, because she stopped singing at the chorus. I think she had a soar throat or something, she smiled and turned the microphone to the crowd. We all sang very loud.
She sang goin down, independence day, I want you back, if that were me, why, suddenly monday, gaga,be the one, feel the sun remix, I turn to you and closer. I dont remember the order!
Then, she tells us its the last song :( But she would do another one if we would sing loud enough. It's never be the same again. We all sing very loud, so she came back to do another one! Then she left. I always hate it when she leaves, I want her to stay!
We bought loads of Melanie C merchandise, and we hurried to the stage door to meet Melanie again, but she already left.
Although it was the sixth time I saw her, it was still very special. I dont know how to explain what its like to see Melanie but I guess most of you know. Meeting Melanie is the best thing ever happened to me. I would do absolutely everything to make it happen again, and it probably will happen again, because i'm going to bonn!!! Love it!
