Dear Singers, Plans for our 29th season are well under way! Letters will be going out this week to everyone but here are our plans as we start our 2009-2010 season. At the Bedford Presbyterian Church, December 12 and 13, we will present an English Yuletide Celebration featuring traditional holiday music from the British Isles. Included in the program will be selections from Britten’s Ceremony of Carols and Handel’s Messiah, a perennial favorite. A selection of Yuletide songs will round out the program. Rehearsals begin Monday, September 14, at the Fox Lane Middle School Little Theatre on the Fox Lane Campus, Rt. 172 in Bedford. Registration for singers will be at 7:30 PM, rehearsal from 8-10 PM. In the event of inclement weather or any other problem, we will use email to notify everyone should there be a need to cancel or reschedule rehearsal. You can also check our website: www.bedfordny.com/msw. This is a perfect time to invite friends and new singers to join us! Dues are $175 for the fall season, plus the cost of music and study CD. Full or partial scholarships are available and can be arranged by speaking with me privately. If you have a scheduling conflict, please let me know so we can find a solution, and continue singing together! And mark your calendar for our Spring Concert which will be on April 17-18, 2010 at the Bedford Presbyterian Church. Please come and sing! And invite your friends to join us. Master Singers of Westchester was founded in 1981 by fifteen singers with a desire to perform great choral repetoire with professional orchestra and soloists and to share this quality musical experience within the community.
All singers are accepted without audition. Training in classical and baroque vocal technique is provided at rehearsals. New singers are welcome until ten weeks before the concert date. For information, call 914/739-3669. | |||||||||||||||

| Cancellation PolicyRehearsals may be cancelled up to 6 pm on the day of rehearsal due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. A phone tree is in place with the leader of each section receiving the cancellation call from a member of the board. The section leader is responsible for notifying their section, but you may also receive an email if you register your email address (below):
