"INTO THE MILLENNIUM"

Video Reviews

Backstreet Boys - the hot-selling group that has been through so many histories. As an early fan, I've shared all the hard and good times with them and now I'd like to share my opinion on all of their videoclips.

Their first video ever, We've Got It Goin' On symbolize their kick-off in the music era and their confidence on their music. Fans cheering over them, females and males - that's what happened today. It really shows their future which is right now - only their BIGGER than what they've symbolized in the video.

Anywhere For You. I love this song since the first time I heard it. The video is very relaxing. Their bike-riding and beach-walking pictured the meaning of "anywhere for you." If you don't understand what I meant, it is the picture that they'll travel in any way for the person mentioned in song.

The group's millenniumish style shows off in their "Get Down" video. Wearing those far-out diesel jackets while dancing all their cool dance routines, this video is totally cool! The special effects was cool too. I loved the part when Fun Factory danced in the air! =)

The heart-melting song followed by a heart-melting videoclip - I'm describing I'll Never Break Your Heart (not the US Version) video. It's totally sad - a girl was broken-hearted by another guy while a guy (Brian) who loves her with all his heart had a tough chance to admire her all because of that stupid heartbreaking "another" guy. I love the ending. They all lived happily ever after.. *sniff* *sniff* While on the other way, the US Version INBYH video doesn't symbolize this manufacted sweet-love feeling. It's more to show the inviduality of each boys. You can tell by their rooms. Nick is very casual (the pics around him is totally to-die-for!) with his cool but weird pants... I love it! =)

Quit playing games with their heart! Look how sad they are in the video! *laughs* Nah... just joking. This video is great, too. And then skipped off to their all-time great video, Everybody (Backstreet's Back). Hey, maybe they can make a movie out of the video! Again, this video also featured each boys' inviduality. The characters are great and they have the talent to make the characters look alive. The all-time famous Everybody dance is really great too!

When I first saw As Long As You Love Me, I was totally in love with it! All the boys looked great (esp. Nick and I loved Brian sparkling blue eyes in this vid!). Their cool chair dance moves totally struck a nerve to me! I love it, I love it, I love it! All I Have To Give was pretty dull but then they all looked great and there's always a great dance - the hats part. That one totally kicks ass!

Now we're stepping to 1999, when I Want It That Way won the Viewers' Choice. And they deserve it. The video is cool - especially the part when they all dressed in white - totally smart! And currently Larger Than Life, one of my favorites besides Everybody and As Long As You Love Me. Is it only me but don't you realize the video is like 'Everybody' video in a new millennnium style? Okay first... there's the bus driver.. being a robot. Then the boys have their own character. And the last part, they danced in the totally way-cool outfits.. just like Everybody but in a millenniumish style. It really shows that the boys mature and had grown a lot since the past few years.

Well I guess that's about it. If you wanna response to this review, feel free to do so by e-mailing me at hpage_stuff@hotmail.com and if you have the time, please visit my Nick site at Heaven In Nick's Eyes
