-Gig Reviews-

The band ventured into unknown territory last night as they played their first gig since March, and first gig with the new drum machine a.k.a Ryan Whittle, at the Star and Garter in Manchester. Having paid for the 'privelege' to play there, the band were none to pleased when they turned up at 7pm to soundcheck and actually got a five minute soundcheck two hours later. Garna then had just enough time to grab a beer and get up on stage - needless to say, they looked wound up and this showed in the sheer energy of the set that they played. No-one would have known this was a band playing with a new drummer - the practice seems to have paid off as Ryan played an absolute stormer, with Garners bass sweetly locked in time, the band sounded tighter than ever. Put this with Steves' raw vocals and pure energy, backed up with Kevs' timely harmonies and furious guitar licks and the band had the crowds undivided attention for the 35 minutes they were on stage. The actual set played was:

Kiss the feet of a rock star
The only thing
I hope
Crossroads
Without hope
Can you understand me now
