-I was once told "you are a giant, but you're not friendly".
Allow me to explain, I do not now (nor have I ever before)
pretend that I am what you would call "friendly". No sir,
I may not like hugging, I probably don't remember your phone
number and may not like to talk out loud. With that said,
I would like to make it abundantly clear that the name "Friendly
Giant" was never supposed to be some sort of nickname-like spoof.
It was a name which derived out of an undying respect for, and
a desire to preserve the legacy of, the Canadian icon The
Friendly Giant as seen on your T.V. in the mid eighties.

 - As you may (or may not) have noticed, this page
is in the process of a major re-structuring. The
bulk it's new and exciting features are not quite
ready yet. Please keep your undies on, it will be
ready to go very, very shortly. Come on back ya'll!

-Secondly, listen to Friendly Giant Radio on W.L.S.O.
(Mondays 9-11 P.M.) A major spring show annoucement
is on the way. Radio listeners will be the first to know.
Non-Sault Ste. Marie residents can listen to Friendly
Giant Radio live on the web by visiting
Lake State Campus Radio on the web.

-Among other gnarly things, the Friendly Giant is now
home to the "Find-a-Date" message board. A splendid
  way to find satisfaction.
