-I was once told "you are a giant, but you're not friendly".
Allow me to explain, I do not now (nor have I ever before)
pretend that I am what you would call "friendly". No sir,
I may not like hugging, I probably don't remember your phone
number and may not like to talk out loud. With that said,
I would like to make it abundantly clear that the name "Friendly
Giant" was never supposed to be some sort of nickname-like spoof.
It was a name which derived out of an undying respect for, and
a desire to preserve the legacy of, the Canadian icon The
Friendly Giant as seen on your T.V. in the mid eighties.
