"ONE NIGHT WITH YOU"

In Aid of the United Way, Kingston
and
The Children's Wish Foundation, Canada

Well, that was a blast!!! The participants from the October 28th show are resting after an absolutely fabulous show in Kingston. They take pride in this show as they actually produce, promote and perform the entire thing. This year the organizers decided to support the United Way, Kingston and The Children's Wish Foundation, Canada. A finally tally has not yet been reached, but will be published as soon as it is available.

It is certainly a delight to see that the October Show has become so popular!!! Tickets sold very quickly and unfortunately we were unable to get everyone into the show that wanted to see it.

Show location: McArthur Hall is located on Queen's University, West Campus on Union Street at Sir John A Macdonald Blvd., Kingston, Ontario. If travelling to Kingston on the 401 Highway there is an exit at Sir John A Macdonald Blvd. There is ample parking at the front and rear of the building. The auditorium is theatre style, with balcony seating and in total seats approximately 750 people.

****Lauren was the first entertainer of the evening and even though she was extremely ill she performed beautifully. Lauren delighted the audience with Patsy Cline's "Crazy", Peggy Lee's "Fever" and Celine Dion's "My Love Will Go On". *****

**** For the Buddy Holly fans attending the October show - Buddy Holly was reunited with the Crickets and performed a live show for the enjoyment of the audience. Special attention is paid to being as authentic as possible. Guest appearances were also made by a young Elvis Presley and Ritchie Valens. This group of three energetic performers is very quickly catching the attention of many people who enjoy the 50s tunes. Catch up with the activities of "Buddy Holly Live****

**** For those that were able to attend the October show it was quite evident that Elvis had done a lot of work preparing for this show. He made numerous changes to his song selections and also the set, but it was the quality of his voice that was the most remarkable. ****

Once again assisting in this year's "Emergency Memories" Production was Kingston's own "Sound on Sound Production". Dale worked countless hours to prepare a light and sound show that will not soon be forgotten. The light show was entirely new and the special effects rocked the house. The combination of Elvis moves and lighting effects were amazing. Great work Dale. For those people able to attend, I hope they agree that it was an incredible night of "Rock 'n Roll Memories".
