You lay the blanket on drive,
A look of love shining in your eyes,
We observe the heavens in a warm embrace,
As I hold your hand, then kiss your face,
You smile and I know you love me too,
I realize how much better my life is with you,
A star then shoots across the sky,
Both of us wishing that forever we'll lie,
Not on this concrete so hard and so cold,
But in each others arms where our hearts we'll
hold.
