Love At First Sight

By: Eric Steven Truitt

The world was cold, and my heart as well,
My life with no direction, like living in hell,
Then I saw your smile, from across the room,
At that moment I wanted, and needed you soon,
As fate would have it, I took you out,
From our first kiss, I knew without a doubt,
The look of desire, in both our eyes,
Would change the course, of both our lives,
Now we are together, both our hearts true,
Because I fell in love, when I first saw you.
