Wish You Were a Blade Runner, Akira

Ok, this is not one sync but TWO!! Yes, two. Get excited. The reason I put them on the same page is because they both sync with Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here." This is probably my favorite Pink Floyd album so these syncs have to be cool because its fun to listen to anyway. All you need is PF's 1975 release and the 1982 sci-fi flik "Blade Runner" or the 1989 Japanese Animation film "Akira" (I've never even heard of this one). These are just fun to chill with and not worry about hanging on to every word.

Blade Runner

Blade Runner

What to do:

"To set this synch up, put in the CD of Wish You Were Here and pause it. Then put in the director's cut (it has to be the director's cut) of Blade Runner. After the "Green Tree" logo comes up, wait for the "Jerry Perenchio and Bud Yorkin Present" screen to come up. Unpause Wish You Were Here at this point. Then just sit back and enjoy the show."

Akira

Akira...what the fuck?

"A classic of Japanese animation (or ANIME), Akira, was one of the first of a new wave of animated films to break into the American consciousness in the late 1980s. With its stunning visuals, and trippy theme, Akira has been a cult classic for years.

To set this synch up, put in the CD of Wish You Were Here and pause it. Then put in the video of Akira. When the Streamline Pictures logo fades to black, unpause the tape. The next shot is "Akira Commitee Production" and the film begins. Then just sit back and enjoy the show. "
