

Yet another simple Pink Floyd sync. All you need is Pink Floyd's 1971 album "Meddle" with track 6 "Echoes." This song syns with the last 23 minutes (the song is 23 minutes long) of "2001: A Space Odyssey" which is called "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite." A little screen will pop up that says "Jupiter..." and this is when you start "Echoes." The whole space-theme coincides well with these two.(Source: The Synchronicity Arkive
The sync could have very well been intended. Waters stated once that he was mad that Floyd didn't get to do the soundtrack for that movie. He also asked Kubrick (the director) if he could use some of the audio from 2001 for "The Wall" but Kubrick turned him down.
