Also, Disc 2 / track #3 has been slightly edited down from its original form specifically for this release, hence it being tagged with "(classics edit)". Compare the song, "Metapharstic", to its original version which appears as Disc 1 / track #3 the UK double-cd for "Mayday : A New Chapter Of House And Techno '92" (MC 1). note: The UK lp for "Analogue Bubblebath Volume 3" comes in a thin brown
glossy paper bag (with serrated edges at its opening) with no print
on it whatsoever, but does have a rectangular bar code sticker
affixed [the call number `REPH 008' appears here]. Also included
within the sleeve is a 21x29.6cm double-sided black [photocopied
print] on white paper insert, featuring "Instructions For Use" of
track #4, a list of "Places Of Interest In Cornwall", a "RePhLeX
Mail-Order Dept." list, as well as the history and [initial]
intentions of the RePhLeX label.
note: On the UK lp for "Analogue Bubblebath Volume 3", track #4/5 features
two songs playing simultaneously (one in each channel) - the two
songs featured are tracks #3 and #5 from the cd version of this
release. The song, ".0180871R", starts off track #4/5 (on its right
channel), and then after seven seconds, ".0180871L" begins (on its
left channel). At the 3:55 minute mark, ".0180871L" then fades out
and ends with ".0180871R" continuing until it ends as well.
[.0180871L + .0180871R = .0180871]
note: The UK lp for "Analogue Bubblebath Volume 3" has the following
messages etched into its record's run-out groove, on Side A: "THIS

note: As neither of the UK issuances of the cd release for "Analogue
Bubblebath Volume 3" come with any type of sleeve or inserts, their
track listing is not listed anywhere on their packaging or on the
discs themselves. In fact, their discs (for all releases) have
absolutely no print on them whatsoever - both sides look the same
except that the call number, "CAT 008 CD", is digitally etched into
their run-out grooves onto the non-playable side. The corrections
are as appear above.
note: As both the original pressing and the reissuance of the UK cd for
"Analogue Bubblebath Volume 3" are nearly identical, the only way to
scrutinize one from the other are from three subtle differences. The
first (and most obvious) is the packaging. The first pressing comes
in either a slimline jewel case housed within a clear plastic
`bubblebag' [a plastic bag with bubbles on it, like the ones used for
packing and shipping], or in the slimline jewel case by itself. Both
of these come with an identical 10.4x3.7cm black [photocopied print]
on white paper sleeve sticker. The reissuance also comes in a
slimline jewel case (without the `bubblebag'), but this time has a
10.6x3.7cm black & blue [print] on white glossy sleeve sticker
affixed to its front. Where on the original sleeve sticker it
states: "66% more bubbles", the reissuance credits: "written and
produced by Richard D. James". Also, where there were originally
`bubbles' printed [in black] on the original sleeve sticker, they
have now been replaced with equal-sized blue [print] APHEX TWIN
logos. The second difference between the two pressings is that the
second pressing comes with an additional black [print] on white
glossy sleeve sticker affixed to the back of its jewel case (which
features production/release information, as well as information
pertaining to its 12" ep. companion release (CAT 00897)). The third
difference is in the `etchings' on the center rings of both of the
discs. The original cd release is encoded with the following
information: "CAT 008 CD", and: "Mastered By Nimbus". The
reissuance on the other hand is encoded with the following: "A6213
CAT 008 CD : |:0", and: "IFPI L123 NIMBUS IFPI L123".

note: The double-lp releases for "(Surfing On Sine Waves)" omit the
untitled song, "---------- [surfing on sine waves cd - #7]", from
their track listing (on the records' labels). Disc 2's label
incorrectly identifies track #3 as "Quixote", and track #4 as "Quino-
Phec", thus not acknowledging there as being a fifth track on the
second record. On the other hand, the picture sleeve does list the
untitled song, "---------- [surfing on sine waves cd - #7]" but has
not acknowledged it with a track number. The corrections are as
appear above.

sleeve which features the track numbers (only - with no song titles)
in black [print] on white. The discs themselves are different than
that of any of their commercial releases in that they too lack any
graphics and have the track numbers (only - with no song titles).
note: The US double-cd for "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" comes with a
rectangular yellow [print] on green sleeve sticker affixed.
note: The cd releases for "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" do not
feature traditional song titles for each track. Instead, icons
(which are represented by pictures of textures) take the place of the
song titles. The icons featured on the US cd releases do not always
correspond, and most of the time are totally different [textures/
pictures] than those on their UK and Austrian counterparts. Also,
the US discs themselves feature different graphics than those of the
UK and Austrian releases.
note: The US double-cd for "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" comes with
an insert which is almost identical to the one that comes with the UK
and the Austrian cd, but with some of the information being
airbrushed out, and new information replacing it (for instance, the
t-shirt information does not appear on the US double-cd's insert).
note: The double-cd releases for "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" mis-
credit the song, "Blue Calx", as being by THE APHEX TWIN, when in
actuality is a BLUE CALX song. In fact, this is the same exact song
that appears on both the UK cd for the "Philosophy Of Sound And
Machine" compilation (A.R.T 2CD) (credited as being by BLUE CALX),
and on the US double-cd for "Chillout Phase Two" (EX-268-2) (mis-
credited as being by THE APHEX TWIN). All releases which feature the
song, "Blue Calx", should instead credit it (if necessary) as being
by BLUE CALX.

note: The UK cassette for "...I Care Because You Do" comes with a circular
black [print] on white sleeve sticker affixed. The UK cd also comes
with the exact same sleeve sticker, but this time a smaller version.
note: The US promotional cd for "...I Care Because You Do" comes with no
front picture sleeve, but does have a back sleeve which features the
track listing as well as a short promotional write-up on APHEX TWIN.
The graphics of the disc itself are also exclusive to this release -
featuring it's title, the track listing, and publishing information
(all in white [print] on brown).
note: The US cassette and cd for "...I Care Because You Do" each come with
the same circular black [print] on white sleeve sticker affixed
(which is different from that of its UK issuances').
note: The US cd releases for "...I Care Because You Do" pretty much come
with the same picture sleeve as their UK counterpart, but the discs
themselves are noticeably different from each other (for instance,
the UK version has its copyright information in the "hand-written"
style of the rest of the cd, while the US disc features small typeset
lettering instead).
note: On the cd and cassette releases for "...I Care Because You Do", there
are no discernable separating breaks in between tracks #8 and #9
(combined time: 9:05), and/or tracks #10 and #11 (combined time:
10:41).

note: The Japanese cd for "51/13 Aphex Singles Collection" comes with a
standard obi-strip, and is housed in a transparent plastic disc
holder (instead of the standard black kind), allowing an extra
picture sleeve to be visible beneath its inner casing.
note: The Japanese cd for "51/13 Aphex Singles Collection" incorrectly
identifies tracks #1 and #7 as simply "On" and "73-Yips",
respectively. Also, tracks #3 and #9 are misspelled as being
"Ventolin (crowsmangegus mix edit)" and "Ventolin (marazavose mix
edit)", respectively. The corrections are as appear above.
note: On the Japanese cd for "51/13 Aphex Singles Collection", the song
entitled "Ventolin (marazanvose mix edit)" is actually an edit of the
last 1:07 minutes of "Ventolin praze-an-beeble mix)" plus the
entirety of "Ventolin (marazanvose mix)".

note: Both the US cassette and cd for "Richard D. James Album" come with a
rectangular white [print] on orange sleeve sticker affixed (the
sticker that comes with the cassette is a smaller variation of the
one on its cd release). Also, the US cd for "Richard D. James Album"
comes in a slight variation of its UK issuance, in that the colors on
its picture sleeve are a bit washed out (as compared to its UK
counterpart), and it additionally features the picture sleeve for the
"`Girl/Boy' E.P." (WAP 78).
note: On both the US and Japanese releases for "Richard D. James Album",
there are three untitled pieces which are not acknowledged in the
track listing. The first one starts at the beginning of track #12,
and ends right before the song "Milk Man". The second starts at the
beginning of track #14, and ends right before the song "Girl/Boy Song
(#18 snare rush mix)". The third begins during track #16 after the
song "Girl/Boy Song (redruth mix)" is over, and continues until the
end of that [shared] track. The corrections are as appear above.
