BIOGRAPHY:

For several years, R. Sean Faust has been successfully making a name for himself throughout the New York/New Jersey music circuit as a talented musician and songwriter.

In addition to his numerous performance experiences on several stages in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, Sean's musical persona and amiable stage presence have been introduced to captivated audiences in Canada and Puerto Rico. His highly acclaimed skills on the stage and in the recording studio have been acknowledged and reviewed locally as well as internationally.

Sean is well known for his friendly, professional attitude, and his unique style and approach to keyboard playing. Having worked with so many varied projects with styles including progressive rock, metal, rock, new age, and industrial, Sean has been able to leave an indelible mark as a versatile and talented musician.

From the mid to late ‘90’s, Sean Faust has been hard at work making his name and presence known on the tri-state original music circuit while performing constantly with his progressive rock act Money For The Toll, as well as keeping his schedule filled by recording and playing live with other area acts such as Leap Dog Music Recording Artist John Taglieri, Secret Port Records’ Christian rockers Rivera/ Bomma, heavy metal/visual artists Into Darkness and Prismism Records’ owner and artist Neil Rambaldi, who also played on and released Sean’s CD "Stained Glass".

In the early years of the new millennium, Sean found himself playing keyboards in tribute bands: Erotomania (Dream Theater) and the highly successful Bon Jovi tribute, Slippery When Wet. However, after joining acoustic based cover band Perfect Strangers in 2003, Sean began to realize his love for acoustic guitar, and the songwriting style he had originally started with.

Realizing the challenges of balancing new-age, acoustic, and progressive rock influences, Sean went ahead and finished the recording and release of his first solo CD, “Stained Glass”, to much appraise. “I’m mostly happy with the response ‘Life’s Trivial Moments’ received from the CD! If not anything else, that’s my favorite song on the CD, and also the oldest. She’s my daughter, my baby. I can’t wait to share her with more people.”

Aside from performing with Slippery When Wet and Perfect Strangers, Sean plans to take his own show to the stage in a more……”organic and natural” way. Whether a duo, trio, full band, or solo, Sean is guaranteed entertainment; with his songwriting skills, stage persona and quick witted commentary, wry sense of humor, sing along cover songs, and them oriented sets, Sean Faust's live show is a marvel!
