The 79-year old actor, DeForest Kelley passed away on June 11th, 1999 due to a medical condition; stomach cancer he play the unforgettable role of Dr. Leonard H. McCoy After Star Trek ended production, Kelley took a long, well-deserved vacation. He made a few movies and did some television appearances, but primarily went into retirement. His wife Carolyn died in October 2004.
He will be deeply missed.
