Funeral services for Bethani Laken Beasley, 5, of Millry, Ala., were held on Sept. 26, 2007, at Pine Tree Holiness Church, with the Rev. Ronnie Morris, the Rev. Mark Guy and the Rev. Michael Mooney officiating.
Interment followed at Pine Tree Cemetery in Millry.
Born on Oct. 29, 2001, Beasley was a student at Chatom (Ala.) Elementary School.
She died on Sept. 23, 2007, at Washington County Hospital in Chatom.
She is survived by her parents, Christina and Ronald Beasley, both of Millry; her brother, Blaze Beasley of Millry; maternal grandmother and husband, Mary Sue Thompson and Tony McIlwain of Frankville, Ala.; paternal grandmother, Connie and Lane Mozingo of Millry; her Maw Maw, Paulette Beasley of Millry; her Paw Paw, Randy Beasley of Millry; her great-grandfather, Bee Beasley of Chatom; and her aunts and uncles, Robin and Randy Hutcherson of Millry, and Peanut and Kristen Thompson of Frankville.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jake Thompson and Ronald Beasley; her great-grandmothers, Allie Beasley and Pearlie McIlwain; and her great-grandfather, T. J. McIlwain. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
