CRUNCHY CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Ingredients

½ c. butter
½ c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
½ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. each baking powder, cinnamon and salt
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. bran flakes ½ c. coconut
½ c. chocolate chips
½ c. raisins

Method

Cream butter; add sugar, then egg and vanilla
. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Last add oatmeal, flakes and optional ingredients.
Roll in small balls and place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
