Lexx 2.8 White Trash

While lounging up on the bridge, Stan hears what sounds like a human voice in the distance and realises that other people may have been on board when they broke free of the Cluster...

...and soon finds out there are - a family of cannibal hillbillies who had been prisoners on the Cluster.

Stan takes them to meet Xev who's pining over Kai, at which point Pa declares that he is going to be the new Captain of the Lexx. Stan and Xev are marched off to the bridge while 790 is left alone with the youngest son.

Stan tries to explain that only he can command the Lexx, all the while trying to fend off the amorous intentions of the daughter. With the aid of a clenched fist, Pa persuades Stan to set course for their home planet of Vermal.

When Pa falls asleep, his daughter starts to turn on the charm with Stan, while Xev tries to get it on with the eldest son, but he's more interested in the upcoming party on Vermal.

Meanwhile, the youngest son turns out to be rather different to the others, having the knowledge to disassemble and modify 790, because he wants his help starting up the 'charger' down on Vermal.

When Lexx arrives at Vermal he calls out to let Stan know. Stan however, is in post-coital bliss and isn't listening. Unfortunately, Lexx's announcement also woke up Pa...

...who soon discovers Stan has been diddling his little girl. In a desperate attempt to save his life Stan says he wants to marry Pa's daughter, to which Pa agrees, mostly because it means as head of the Clan he gets all of Stan's possessions. Including the Lexx.

Against Pa's orders, Xev and Junior head down to Vermal in a moth. So Pa decides he'll have to kill them both - as soon as he's married Stan and Sissy. Back in the cryochamber, 790 has persuaded the youngest son to revive Kai, in exchange for his help.

Things aren't going too well at the wedding as Stan's reticence makes Pa think he doesn't want to join the family. When Pa attacks Stan, Sissy defends him, but ends up falling over the edge of the bridge. When Kai turns up, Pa thinks he's the law and runs off into the depths of the Lexx.

Junior and Xev arrive on Vermal and soon Xev is drawing a lot of attention, from the less than savoury inhabitants.

Fearing Xev is in danger, 790 convinces Kai to head down after her, leaving Stan all alone on the Lexx, with Pa lurking who knows where.

Getting frightened Stan tries to call Lyekka out of her pod, but Pa finds him first.

Down on the planet, the charger turns out to be a small spacecraft, from when a visitor called Norb crash landed, and was killed by Pa. 790 wants to find Xev, but Kai holds him to his agreement to help with the charger

Back on the Lexx, Lexx announces he is getting a signal from the planet. It's coming from Pa's cousin, who has captured Junior and Xev and clearly has a beef with Pa, as he's threatening to feed Junior to the critters. And soon does.

In response, Pa commands Stan to blow up Vermal, but with Xev and Kai still down there Stan resists. The Lexx then receives another transmisson, this time from the charger. The kid tells Pa that he's not his Pa at all, the spaceman he killed was.

With the charger repaired, Kai swings by the party in a moth and rescues Xev from a hideous fate.

When Stan sees the moth returning he sees a way to escape the beating Pa is giving him and commands Lexx to blow up Vermal...

...which he does...

When Kai and Xev get back Stan is overjoyed, but Pa runs off again...

They head off after him, but he gives them the slip and returns to the bridge. Unfortunately for him, Lyekka is just waking up, and she's hungry

The crew hear a scream and it's all over. Outside, a joyful Norb, having taken off before Vermal was destroyed, heads off into space in his Father's ship.
