Lexx 2.6 Stan's trial
Learning nothing from the Luvliner, Stan is in search of the Celes pleasure transport.
He is overjoyed to learn that they remember him...
...but things don't seem quite right once he gets on board, and is captured in a giant condom (really)!
A message is sent out across the universe that the arch traitor Stanley Tweedle has been apprehended in a sting operation - a message that is picked up by the Lexx.
The Grand Prosecutor arrives to personally oversee Stan's trial...
...and gives him the news that he is on trial for the murder of billions on a hundred planets.
Kai and Xev arrive to a less than friendly welcome...
...while the Grand prosecutor persuades one of her team to act as Stan's defence lawyer...
...and the trial begins.
It begins 10 years ago with Stan's first visit to the Celes pleasure transport...
...and the loss of the Ostral B heretics' amino acid codes hidden in his tooth...
...which allowed His Shadow's Megashadow to follow Stanley to the heretics' base and destroy it. The prosecution pauses for a short recess...
...during which the Grand prosecutor fires Stan's lawyer for defending him too well.
She also disposes of one of the pleasure girls who could have helped Stan's defence.
After the recess, Kai volunteers to defend Stan...
...who is fitted with a memory probe, which reveals that rather than killing himself, he allowed himself and the secrets of the Ostral B heretics to be captured by mercenaries.
His memories are enough to ensure he is found guilty...
...but Kai manages to secure a quick painless death for Stan...
...rather than the death by nerve bore worms that the Grand prosecutor wanted, however she gets the blessing of the court to be the one to deliver the killing stroke.
For a Grand prosecutor she shows little respect for the judicial system, as she plans to go ahead and give Stan the bore worms anyway, in order to satisfy her death fetish.
Elsewhere, Xev isn't happy with just leaving Stan to die, but Kai isn't motivated to save someone who has been found guilty.
Xev soon has to worry about herself, as the police attack them on the Grand prosecutor's orders.
The deception changes Kai's stance when he realises the Grand prosecutor is not interested in justice, only cruelty. They rescue Stan and return to the Lexx, which Stan instructs to get as far away as possible.
Once again they fail to see what happens moments after they leave...
