Rumble in the Bronx
After a bit of re-editing and re-dubbing Rumble in the Bronx became the first big American success for Jackie. It revolves around a biker gang (who terrorize the neighbourhood where Jackie's uncle has his shop) and a diamond smuggling Mr Big. As always Jackie finds himself stuck in the middle with both groups out to get him - one for the diamonds which have gone missing, and one because they just don't like him (especially after he gives them a good kicking when they start shoplifting in his uncle's shop).
Rumble in the Bronx has some intense fight scenes and some great moments of humour, but it seems a little Westernized, a bit like Supercop -- so it's a great film, but not quite up there with his best.
