COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES: I was appointed head facilitator/speaker of a Fibromyalgia support group consisting of more than 100 members in 1995. I organized and guided meetings, scheduled guest speakers and conference facilities, provided support and referrals to members, and contributed to the group library. I passed my leadership responsibilities on to our treasurer after my Fibromyalgia went into remission, but I continue to remain an active member. I design Web sites for home based businesses and groups that hold special events or timely activities that need promotion. I also offer basic Windows 95 tutoring along with Internet coaching. My clients generally consist of individuals who are not familiar with the computer or WWW concept. I also assist in building resumes and advertisements placed in the phone directory and other off-line outlets. Marketing strategies and consulting are also offered. |
