CLUB STORY

Time passes quickly, so they say, as it was on the 22nd September 1989 when our club started it's story. Now nearly 10 years have passed. We had our ups and downs during the past years but we managed to succeed; We succeded by winning 3 league titles, knock outs and also individual players success. The team started to form when we had the opportunity to play a charity friendly match in U.K; We had discussions, all in the hands of the one and only MARTIN SANT (Club founder and ex coach) with the help of Carmel Francalanza, they prepared everything for the game, but problems arised and the game had to be cancelled. While the team was already formed, we decided to participate in the C.A.S.L.A league which is held at Manoel Island, we ended up runners up. We then organised friendly matches each week until we find the chance to participate in a better league.

The first general meeting was held in a garage owned by Chris Lautier and the next was held at the villagge youth centre, we decided to look for premises where we can all meet, Mr Joe Camilleri offered us the Ex Athletics club but not for long as again problems arised and we had to be out, fortunetly Mr Paul Fenech offered us one room in Friend's Pub where we all still meet today. We were then accepted to partecipate in the M.A.F.A league and from there we never looked back, success after success, from one division to another, now we are there to stay in the FIRST DIVISION of the MALTA AMATURE FOOTBALL ASSOSIATION league. We ended up in third place this season hopeing to win the league next season on our 10th anniversary.
