I was so proud to represent the Big Sky state in the Ms. US Continental 2000 pageant, that I intend to compete again next year! It is the only event for women, single or married, between the ages of 24 and 60.

Thank you to all of the wonderful people and businesses that supported me at the Ms. US Continental Pageant! I had a great time, met a group of wonderful and accomplished ladies.

If you’ve never competed in a pageant before, the following quote by Audrey Hepburn tells why I compete, and it also exemplifies a true pageant winner.

The Ms. US pageant was held at the "Entertainment Capital of the World," LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. I joined the other state representatives, as we gathered together in Vegas to have fun with family and friends and develop wonderful new friendships. My flight arrove on Friday, October 15th, 1999 and I competed for the title and crown of Ms. US 2000 on Monday, October 18th, 1999.

Competition consisted of Private Interview which was worth 50% of the score, evening gown and aerobic wear which occur on stage and accounted for 25% each. I'm really rather pleased to be in a pageant which choses to focus on aerobic wear rather than swimsuits. It just makes more sense. There is no performing talent in this pageant, so instead more of the score is based on the private interview.
