Somewhere in
the future, evil threatenes the Galaxy Alliance.
But the Voltron Force is there to face any
challange. The battle is fought in two
battlegrounds: One is Planet Arus. Evil King
Zarkon, King of Planet Doom wants to conquer
Arus. His only obstacle: The Lion Voltron. The
other battlezone is deep space: the Drool Empire
is expanding their territory,. threatening the
alliance. But a team of Space Explorers are there
to stop their evil plot witht he aid of the
Vehicle Voltron! |

I don't need
to tell you who Voltron was or how the story was
like. Voltron is famous enough to gain world
recognition. All I will focus is on what most
fans don't know. The two Voltrons was originally
two unrelated robots: Go Lion and Dairugger
XV. These shows was edited, re-written and
released in the USA as one show. On the American
version, nobody died and the heroes where noble
warriors that fought "The Good Fight".
But the original series was far from that heroic
image! I don't know much about dairugger, but Go
Lion was nothing near to the noble hero he was
portrayed as on Voltron. The charatcer and the
series as well was darker and even full of gore!
I'll be building a Tribute Page for Voltron and I
will include detailed information about what was
ommited on the American versions.I forgot, Lion
Voltron was far more popular than Vehicle
Voltron. This ensured him TWO sequels: a
cell-animated one and a CGI (computer generated)
. Both made under "American Standars". |
