On her 13th
birthday, a young witch named Kiki leaves her
home to find her place in the world. She
eventually ends up in a small town where she
finds a room with a local baker and his wife. She
meets a boy with a fascination with flight and an
artist among others.

Question:
Why somebody whol's a freak of
"guy-oriented" (action) and sci-fi
[robots] anime would be interested in Kiki's
Delivery Service??
Answer: Because of it's animation and
story line.
On the first my fascination for anime is because
of it's art. Even low-budget productions (some of
them) have a visual quality that appeals tome.
But this movie just rock on that department! On
the second this movie have a strong doze. Enough
to grab me by the throat and drag me down!!
Seriously! The problem with many
"family-oriented" cartoon titles is
that they're actually made with a young audience
in mind and thus the storyline is cheesy :-(. But
this movie is appealing to grown-ups and I just
love that! |
