| Description |
Earth is
invaded in (the then Apocalyptic date) 1999 by an
alien race called the Idelians, who have
been wandering through space for over ten
thousand years. With their vessel almost out of
energy, their final hope is to settle in our
solar system... Only a single unit that proves a
match for the invaders. The team, under the
command of Colonel Yôichi Takashiro, is
a special unit comprised of three robots and
their pilots. These machines conceived for
all-terrain combat which transform into
robots.... |

The series
was percieved by various leading anime
publications in Japan as a failure. yet, it was
exported to many countries, Including Puerto
Rico (my home land). Personally I don't give
a damn what the critics may say. I just love the
mecha and the plot is great! But what I really
love about this is that two of the three robots
was choosen by Hasbro to be included in their
Transformers toyline! It's a shame they didn't
made it to the TV show, so I think to see the Dorvack
anime is enough consolation for me and other
fans!. |
