  • ANDALUCIA is the Galician port where the Spanish Celts settled. Like Valois, it is known for its music but also for its linen industry, providing the island with much of its cloth and material for clothing. Andalucia also has an artists colony. SEVILLA is the township.

  • BRYN GWLAD is the main port of Ynys Aur. It is the Welsh settlement, located on the eastern shire of the isle, at the foot of the Misty Mountains. Its bustling commerce includes not only international trade, but the town is noted for its famous mapmakers and library. To the town council's chagrin, it also has a thriving red light district known as "Thieves Alley." CAERDYFF is the township.

  • CARTERHAUGH is the Scottish port on the northern end of the island in Northshire. It is a largely agricultural area, where rolling green pastures are dotted with sheep, goats, cows, and oxen though it also has many coal mines and peat bogs. The wool industry is its economic stronghold. INVERNESS is the township.

  • DUNSEVERICK houses the island's largest castle on the jutting piece of land known as Fair Head. The Irish port is noted for its whiskey, lumber, peat, and wool. A large bluestone quarry is located near the port. KILDARE is the township.

  • MARRIC is the Cornish port of Ynys Aur. The only abbey on the island is located here, as is the only winery, for vinyards grow aplenty in the shire. The abbey is also prized for its lace and a leather bindery. ST. IVES is the township.

  • VALHALGARD is an islet, home to Ynys Aur's fierce Viking community and most islanders are grateful for its separation from Ynys Aur. Though the Vikings usually keep to themselves, occasional raids mean trouble for the island's population. Valhalgard's metalsmiths create the most prized armor and metal jewelery on the island but its value can vary according to whether or not the islet is battling its neighbor.

  • VALOIS is the Breton port, a place known aross the island for its music. Endless fields of lavender (Champs de Lavande) grow just north of the port town, and it is famous for its perfumes and essential oils. The only university on the island is located here. ANJOU is the township.

  • WINDMERE is the London-based port in Westshire, facing Ireland and the Irish Channel. Windmere is home to noted glassmakers, stonecutters and masons, and carpenters, and famous for the architectural styling of the town. YORKDALE is the township.
