Oceanis
When the humans left their lonely Earth, because of pollution and lack of natural resources, they never imagined that they'd end up stranded on a planet of endless ocean. A world covered in water awaited their arrival...after they collided with a Danthian crystal-ship.
The Danthians found that their war-filled planet, under siege by the Carsagi forces, was unsuitable to raise their children on. Thus, they decided to ship their children, and a good few adults with them...off into the stars. However, they collided with an Earthen colony ship, and both fell to the watery planet below.
At first, it was nothing but animosity and one species laying the blame on the other, but the appearance of Time's Guardian, Echartea, straightened the mess out. He managed to make them make peace, and then guided them to the City of Forever. They made peace with King Astrala II, and Humans, Danthians, and Oceanians became friends.
On Oceanis, a tight balance of power is maintained. That balance is maintained by a group of eight individuals, known as the Guardians. There is a Guardian for each of the major elements in existance: Life, Death, Power, Peace, Combat, Time, Light, and Darkness. They are lead by the Guardian of Guardians, Astricus.
